Hotels in Paris with Indoor Pools
Do you need a pool on a trip to Paris? Probably not, but when is travel ever about what you need? Personally, I like having the option of waking up early and getting some laps in or heading down to relax by the pool after some dinner with my wife. And if I’m with the kids, a pool is super helpful for entertainment. Either way, some of these hotels are well priced and they have a hotel pool so its a win-win situation.

1. Hotel Monte Cristo
€€€ | 4 Star | 5th Arr. | Exotic | Indoor Pool
Hotel Monte Cristo has a really cool Middle Eastern vibe to it which makes it fun to stay at. The price is actually very good considering its central location, central style, and great reviews.
The hotel pool is likely large enough to do laps and also has a romantic setting which is the best of both worlds. The hotel location is central but not reasonably within walking distance to the Seine.
This location is right on the edge of the Latin Quarter which is full of great bars, restaurants, and things to do at night. It is also located to a few well-connected metro stations which can get you to the Eiffel Tower or other monuments.
2. Mandarin Oriental Paris
€€€€+ | 5 Star | 1st Arr. | Opulence | Indoor Pool
What can you really say about one of the premier hotel groups on Earth? Actually, you can say a lot. The Mandarin consistently makes some of the greatest and most unaffordable hotels on Earth. The hotels themselves are an attraction to be discovered. In Paris, you’ll find outdoor gardens, an incredible pool, and incredibly designed rooms.
Hopefully, this doesn’t happen, but if our era of people were to fall out of existence like the Romans and be rediscovered, it is properties like the Mandarin Oriental in Paris that would shock future archeologists.
The hotel features an incredible lobby, multiple dining facilities, an indoor heated pool, spacious rooms fitted with designer furniture, and is located in the 1st arrondissement which is the very center of Paris. It is in Place Vendôme which is just about the nices place in Paris.
Standard rooms start at around 700€/night and are very spacious at 37 Sqm or 400 feet. Most have a nice view and beautiful decor. If you have money, this is the go-to choice for an over-the-top hotel in Paris.

3. Hotel Eiffel Blomet
€€ | 4 Star | 15th Arr. | Indoor Pool
This is an incredible find for its location, price, and value. This pool is great for health-conscious travelers who want to get their morning laps in which makes it one of the best affordable hotels with an indoor lap pool in Paris. That said, there are other nicer pools for sure that would allow you to do laps comfortably.
Beyond that, the price is extremely low for a 4 star hotel in the center of Paris with its caliber of reviews. I highly recommend this hotel for the budget conscious traveler who wants to get a lot from there money.
4. Shangri-La Hotel Paris
€€€€+ | 5 Star | 16th Arr. | Classic Luxury | Indoor Pool
The Shangri-La is such an amazing property that focuses on an extremely wealthy and affluent clientele. They have these incredible spaces that have the same enormous feel as a Las Vegas casino without the annoying sounds of slot machines.
The rooms & suites are extremely difficult to match. They have one of the most expensive suites in all of Paris which is larger than many people’s houses. Their indoor pool is one of the most lavish indoor pools at any hotel in Paris. The pool is reason enough to stay at the Shangri-La, but there is much more.
5. Les Jardins de Mademoiselle
€€€ | 4 Star | 15th Arr. | Trendy | Indoor Pool
Les Jardins de Mademoiselle is a cool hotel in the 15th arrondissement of Paris which is relatively close to the Eiffel Tower and Champ de Mars.
Unlike staying at the Ritz or Four Seasons, this hotel won’t cost you an arm and a leg and it has a nice indoor pool for your kids to swim in. It is not massive, but could possibly be large enough to do laps in. You may just have to do more than usual.
6. L’Hôtel Paris
€€€€ | 5 Star | 6th Arr. | Seductive | Indoor “Private” Pool
L’Hôtel is one of my favorite hotels in all of Paris and their indoor pool is part of the reason why. It has an interesting early 20th-century design that makes you feel like you are part of a secret society. Oscar Wilde himself took up residence there at the end of the 19th century until his death.
The pool is no different. As you can see in the photo provided by L’Hôtel, the pool feels like a Roman bath and I wonder if it is intended to be used that way as well? This is one of the many reason that L’Hôtel is one of the coolest and hippest (still a word?) hotels in Paris.
The pool is advertised as “completely private” and “by appointment only”. They go even further to mention that, “during your time-slot, you will have full reign over the subterranean pool, steam room, and treatment suite, with no interruptions.”
From there, according to the hotel, it was frequented by Salvador Dali, Liz Taylor, Jim Morrison, Frank Sinatra, and other notables. Part of the draw is the small boutique feel and the historic building. There are only 20 rooms, a pool, and a iconic bar & restaurant in the lobby.
We love the hotel so much that we start our Super Expensive Food Tour in Paris in their lobby with cocktails. We love the mixture of luxury, haute cuisine, and history.
7. Hôtel & Spa La Belle Juliette
€€ | 4 Star | 6th Arr. | Clean and Basic | Indoor Pool
Another great find in terms of price, location, and ambiance. Hôtel & Spa La Belle Juliette has all the creature comforts you want and more. The hotel-style has youthful undertones and a positive feel. All-in-all, it is a clean and cool hotel with an indoor pool for a super-low price.

8. Hôtel D’Aubusson
€€€€ | 5 Star | 6th Arr. | Amazing Decor | Indoor Pool
Hôtel D’Aubusson is a great way to stay at a very nice hotel for half the price of the Four Seasons. They have an amazing indoor pool and rooms that could compete with some of the uber-expensive hotels in Paris.
What you won’t get, with the exception of their incredible pool area, are large common spaces. The ultra-luxurious hotels charging $1k+ per night have taller ceilings and more impressive common areas. That said, are better common areas worth twice the price per night when the rooms look almost the same? Remember that you can always head to the Mandarin Oriental for a meal or cocktail while staying at the D’Aubusson.
For me, I will likely be looking at hotels of this caliber while planning a long weekend in Paris with my wife.
9. Four Seasons Hotel George V Paris
€€€€+ | 5 Star Lux | 8th Arr. | It’s the Four Seasons | Indoor Pool
I can honestly say I have never stayed at a Four Seasons in my lifetime but I have worked with their brand in the past and have most definitely visited their properties. It is hard to describe the sensation you get on-premises, but it could be loosely described as perfect.
They always have these perfect floral displays all over the hotel, amazing design, and beautiful furniture. These are some of the reasons why they can charge over a grand per night.
The George V property in Paris is one of the Four Seasons’ most amazing hotels as well. It has enormous dining facilities with tall ceilings, an incredible indoor pool, and everything else that you may not have realized you wanted.
What I believe makes a great hotel is all the small intimate common spaces that you can occupy and be in the middle of everything yet feel completely private. Small outdoor gardens and indoor seating areas scattered about the property that leave you tempted to spend more time in your hotel than exploring Paris.
10. Hôtel de Crillon
€€€€+ | 5 Star | 1st Arr. | French Luxury | Indoor Pool
Hôtel de Crillon is part of the Rosewood hotel group and is a crowning jewel of Paris, pun intended. The hotel sits between the Louvre and the Champs-Élysées Gardens in Place de la Concorde. It is a beautifully designed grand hotel with a mix of French contemporary and classical styles.
It has beautiful rooms, dining facilities, bars, suites, and pool. The thing I like most about this property is you feel like you are 100% in France while inside. Some hotels try to be so modern, but Hôtel de Crillon achieves a luxury photo-worthy property that looks Parisian.
11. Maison Souquet
€€€ | 5 Star | 9th Arr. | Seductive | Indoor Pool
People travel for a lot of reasons and romance is definitely one of them. This hotel’s decor has seductive qualities that are perfect for a romantic trip with your spouse or romantic partner.
The building was once an upscale brothel (fully renovated and cleaned!) so the shoe fits.
The hotel is in Montmartre which is perfect for a second visit to Paris since it is not in the middle of everything and has great views.
12. Hôtel Ritz Paris
€€€€+ | 5 Star | 1st Arr. | They Invented Luxury | Indoor Pool
According to Forbes, this hotel in Paris can take credit for the word “ritzy” which refers to excessively nice things. From the same source, they also coined the phrase, “the customer is never wrong.”
When you hear he name, you may think of the luxury hotel brand Ritz-Carlton. There is no affiliation other than the Ritz-Carlton naming their hotel group after the Hôtel Ritz in Paris.
The above definitely elevates the Ritz among the most historic hotels in Paris, but have they kept up with the larger international brands? From my research, the Ritz charges more than any other hotel on this list for a standard room often starting around $1300/night.
The hotel, like many others on this section of the list, is in Place Vendôme which is near the Louvre. It is perfect for an expensive but romantic weekend in Paris.
