Ristorante Franchino
€€€ | Fine Dining | Spectacular Views
This establishment has been in the same family for over 50 years so they must be doing something right! Remember to book in advance to ensure you get a table overlooking the coast. Since you are a bit higher up here, the views are like the photo above.
As for the food, there is a ravioli with shrimp which is superb. For those of you who don’t like seafood, they also have various ” Terra” options like a good old steak with potatoes. For risotto lovers go I recommend the seafood risotto with shrimp, scampi, mussels, and clams. Wash it all down with a chilled, local white wine and you will understand why this is one of the best restaurants in Praiano.
Address: Via Terramare, 3, 84010 Praiano

Kasai
€€€ | Amazing View | Outdoor Seating
Make sure that you book in advance and request seating outdoors so you can enjoy the beautiful view. The location is a bit unique since it is right off the street, but there is little traffic on the road, so you won’t even notice it as your gaze will be focused on the endless sea and delicious seafood in front of you.
To start off I would recommend the fritto misto. This is a mixture of seafood that has been lightly breaded and fried. They will give you some fresh lemon to spray on it and the rest is history. Once you finish that, go for their pasta with black truffle shavings since anything with truffle is divine.

Donna Clelia
€€ | On the Beach | Seafood
Situated right next to Da Armandino ( See above) on the marina di Praia beach, you will still enjoy the epic view of the beach enclosed by cliffs on all sides. This is a historical restaurant in the area and you will see yourself surrounded more by locals than tourists.
While you can order the typical seafood meals like mussels and pasta with fish, they also have an outstanding pizza. While many people get sick of pizza while traveling, at least you have the option on the Amalfi Coast if you get tired of seafood… if that is even possible.

Il Pirata
€€€ | On the Water | Outdoor Seating
I have eaten here for lunch and dinner and both times were exceptional. They have set up a terrace right on the water as well, so you can eat floating on the sea! It is also a lounge bar, so if you prefer to just come for drinks or aperitivo that is ok as well!
Start with a Sauté of Mussels in white wine sauce. After I would highly recommend the linguine with crab. If you happen to still have room, then I would go with any of their choice fish options in the oven. They have a remarkable wine list with many local wines that are superb. As you listen to the calm of the sea, you will understand why this is one of the best restaurants in Praiano.

La Cala Delle Lampare
€€ | Outdoor Seating | Beautiful Views
One of the great things about Praiano is that the entire town is pretty much on one street and this street overlooks the sea. Therefore a majority of the restaurants will boast amazing sea views when eating and here is no different.
The menu consists of Italian classics of the area. This includes fresh pasta, meatballs, octopus, and starter favorites like Burrata. All the while overlooking the Mediterranean. As a result, this is definitely one of the best restaurants in Praiano.

Da Armandino
€€ | Beachside | Seafood
This is a local favorite, so if you are lost you can ask any local and they will tell you how to arrive. The restaurant is located at the Marina di Praia beach. The setting is epic with the beach surrounded on all sides by cliffs. Go for a dip, then head on over for some seafood.
There is outdoor and indoor seating, but I always prefer outdoor. Start with some fried calamari that you sprinkle some fresh lemon on. After order some pasta with seafood and wash it all down with a cold white wine. The location and quality of food definitely make this one of the best restaurants in Praiano.
Address: Via Marina di Praia, 84010 Praiano

Ristorante Costa Diva
€€ | Family Run | Amazing Views
The restaurant is part of the hotel, but you don’t need to stay at the hotel to eat here. I actually stayed here and ate here last year and had a great experience. You will find the staff super friendly and of course delicious food.
Pretty much all the tables have an amazing sea view, so it shouldn’t be a problem to enjoy that. As far as the menu, you will find various kinds of pasta with seafood and of course fish as a second course. Anything I ate here on the menu was good and remember to ask them what they have that’s not on the menu as well.
Address: Via Roma, 12, 84010 Praiano
Hours: 12 PM- 3 PM, 7 PM-11 PM Always open
Il Pino
€€ | Amazing Views | Seafood
When you are looking for a more intimate setting, then work your way down to Il Pino. The staff is super nice and professional and the host, Simone will make you feel right at home. Did I mention that the views are spectacular?
To start, I highly recommend the crudo misto. This is a platter of raw seafood ranging from oysters to fish carpaccio and raw red shrimp. After this, you may not need anything else, but if you continue then I would choose the fresh pasta with mussels and clams. They have a great wine menu, so there is something for everyone. Now you understand why this is one of the best restaurants in Praiano.

Che Bontá
€ | No-Frills | Take out & Delivery
We start the list off with something simple. What I mean by that is that sometimes you don’t want a long, sit-down dinner. You might want to have a quick meal so that you can go night swimming in the sea. Therefore our first option is Che Bontá which translates as ” How Good”.
The main fare is pizza here, why they also offer some pasta dishes and fried calamari. You have the option to dine in or take away. They also have an interesting feature where you can order a pizza and they will deliver it to the closest bus station to you! Enjoy a quick, but delicious meal and that’s why it is one of the best restaurants in Praiano.

Il Rifugio dei Peccatori
€ | No Frills | Take-away
When you walk past il Rifugio dei Peccatori ( translation is the Sinner’s Refuge), you might be hesitant to enter, because the place seems super local. And you would be right, but don’t be scared! The staff is super friendly and is more than accommodating.
When you walk in, you will notice many big casserole dishes with prepared food. This way they can just heat up your food and you got a quick and delicious meal. This is the Italian version of Fast Food. Enjoy!
