Top Hotels with Pools Singapore
With a slew of swoon-worthy pools springing up in Singapore, we can’t help but put on our best bikinis and trendy trunks for a day of leisure in the calm waters of the city’s sexiest pools. These swimming pools are gorgeous and great for splashing in during a vacay, a well-deserved off day, or a honeymoon trip. Take the plunge!
10. Dusit Thani Laguna Singapore
$$$$ | 5 Star | Breathtaking Views | 3 Pools
If you want to relax, visit the luxurious wellness resort Dusit Thani Laguna. You’d be spoiled for choice with three pools—the Kid’s Pool, the Relaxation Pool for leisure lounging, and the outstanding long Lap Pool with jacuzzi amenities.
If you’re as excited about travel as I am, you’ll understand when I say that every vacation needs to have a pool where you can relax and read that book you’ve been meaning to read. Fortunately, the pools are all side-by-side, along with rows of loungers and private cabanas that provide the ideal backdrop for soaking up the rays.
9. Ascott Raffles Place Singapore
$$$ | 5 Star | At the Heart of CBD | See-through Infinity Pool
Ascott Raffles Place is a premium serviced apartment that provides the comforts of home. The facilities include a rooftop jacuzzi with views of downtown and an infinity pool on the 19th level.
With see-through glass walls, the infinity pool amps up the romantic factor. And with the famed Lau Pa Sat hawker centre just a 3-minute walk away, what’s not to love?
8. Naumi Hotel Singapore
$$$ | 5 Star | Great Ambience | Outdoor Pool with Rooftop Bar
This gorgeous swimming pool in Singapore is ideal for a mini-moon because of its sleek, Balinese-inspired design and multicolored city lights as a backdrop. See circular, cushioned beds? Behind it is, in fact, the rooftop bar. As the sun sets, and with a drink in hand, watch the golden hour from this area as the entire space progressively illuminates to match the nighttime city lights, which is quite captivating!
With accommodations this lavish (and plenty more lavishness in other hotels), you’ll be torn between swimming in these huge beds and utilizing all of their in-room amenities, or spending the day at their beautiful infinity pool. Furthermore, you can get here in a flash from Bugis MRT Station or Esplanade MRT Station.
7. Lloyd’s Inn
$$ | 3 Star | Meditative Environment | Outdoor Pool
Lloyd’s Inn offers simple, white-themed rooms with plenty of natural light and complimentary WiFi. Staying at this stylish boutique hotel gives much-needed relief from the city’s buzz and bustle.
Spend the day relaxing on comfy sunbed lounges, soaking up the vacation sun. Lazing on the roof terrace or immersing your toes into the dipping pool surrounded with thick tropical vegetation is lovely enough to lull you into calmness. What more could one ask for? Dhoby Ghaut MRT Station is also about an 8-minute walk away from the hotel!
6. Mandarin Oriental, Singapore
$$$$ | 5 Star | Meditative Environment | Outdoor Pool
Mandarin Oriental is a hidden treasure of convenience, right next to the most family-friendly hotel I’ve ever known—The Ritz-Carlton. The hotel is conveniently connected to Marina Square Shopping Centre and is also across from Suntec City and Millenia Walk shopping mall, which are then directly connected to Promenade MRT Station.
After completing your stretching exercises at the Mandarin’s outdoor yoga pavilion, lie in one of the water sunbeds and relax to the music of poolside fountains. Even if you can trace the contour of the cityscape with your fingers, the world feels a million miles away as the calm pool helps you relax.
5. Capella Singapore
$$$$$ | 5 Star | Rich in Nature | Cascading Outdoor Pool
The Sentosa’s six-star luxury hotel perfectly blends old and contemporary. For a refreshing staycation, reserve one of the resort’s luxury sea view rooms or one-bedroom villas.
Leave your shyness at the door and immerse yourself in Capella Singapore’s soothing sanctuary. The luxurious resort, nestled in the beautiful greenery of Sentosa, includes a cascading pool in addition to the individual villa pools. The surrounding greenery and the South China Sea also provide a beautiful backdrop.
4. W Singapore – Sentosa Cove
$$$$ | 5 Star | Private Cabanas | Outdoor Pool with Bar
The pool in the photo is called the WET® Pool. Without having to leave the pool, swim up to the WET® Bar for tasty munchies and energizing beverages. After dark, the deck is turned into a magnificently colored lighted landscape that casts a lovely glow on the water, allowing for some quiet poolside conversations. It’s a sight to behold!
What’s more, the pool features an underwater audio system, and hotel guests get free access to the pool from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Mondays through Thursdays (excluding Eve of Public Holidays and Public Holidays).
There are also private cabanas, each with its own iPad®, iPod®, and mist fan. Private cabanas are free and available for two-hour intervals on a first-come, first-served basis.
3. Shangri-La Rasa Sentosa, Singapore
$$$$ | 5 Star | Beachfront Resort | Multiple Pool Types
Grab the kids and go over to the family-friendly Shangri-Rasa La’s Sentosa Resort and Spa for some rest & relaxation, where you can lay inside one of the two poolside jacuzzis and bask in the sea view. There are many pool varieties for adults and children, as well as a Splash Pad and Water Slides! And I can’t wait for you to see it (BTW, the view from any of the rooms facing the pool is amazingly breathtaking!)
Kids have their own specialized swimming pool where they may go down all three water slides to their hearts’ delight. The entire children’s section is shaded by a canopy, and the splash pad has water arches for your kid to run over.
2. Hotel Swissôtel Merchant Court
$$$ | 4 Star | Good location | Outdoor Pool
This hotel, located just a short walk from Clarke Quay’s vibrant nightlife (the multicolored buildings in the backdrop of the photo), has a large outdoor pool with water slides (for the kids) and a calming jacuzzi. It’s an excellent place for a weekend vacation to get away from life’s stressors, with revitalizing spa packages and a two-story fitness center.
A sweet spot it’s nestled in, the hotel is convenient if you want to go to Chinatown, Raffles Place (not forgetting the touristy Lau Pa Sat to satisfy your hawker cravings with local food!) and the famed Boat Quay, which attracts guests for its river views and great on-site delicacies. Along with a plethora of neighboring restaurants and pubs, the hotel’s Ellenborough Market Cafe, which hugs the Singapore River’s bank, serves a blend of Asian, Peranakan, and international cuisines.
1. Marina Bay Sands
$$$$ | 5 Star | Million Dollar View | Rooftop Infinity Pool
Without adding the infinity pool at Marina Bay Sands Singapore, this list would be incomplete. David Beckham (don’t mind the fluttering hearts!), Katy Perry, and Justin Bieber have all given it a visit. Perfect for couples seeking to relax under a beautiful night sky while toasting to a mocktail, but not so much for workout fanatics trying to get their laps in or families with children.
It seems like you’re swimming on the edge of the Earth from 57 storeys above the famous ship-shaped structure. Furthermore, the drop beyond the pool’s edge adds a sense of thrill to the experience. The photo above does not do it full credit; you’ll want to click on the booking link below to see more amazing pictures. Not forgetting, CÉ LA VI and LAVO Restaurant are two fantastic rooftop restaurants in Marina Bay Sands that will make your stay even more unforgettable!
