We offer discounts on our tours for several reasons, but never because of a bad experience. If a product doesn’t meet our high standards, we improve it based on traveler feedback or remove it.

Why Discount Tours or Offer Promo Codes?
Product Improvement Discount
We always aim for 5 stars and believe anything above 4.65 out of 5 is an excellent experience. If products start drifting lower than 4.65, we focus our attention on them, renovate, and re-release the new version of the product.
During that process, we’ll survey consumers to analyze where we should improve. It could be the spoken content, means of transport, venue, or an inclusion such as food or beverage.
We take the feedback and run it through an elaborate system of beakers and bunsen burners. The result is almost always an explosion in our tour laboratory.
After that explosion, we’ll read the original feedback and update the tours without any fire or chemicals. Then, we work hard to improve the tour experience and re-release it at a discount to drive interest.
We call this a product improvement discount and it doesn’t last long. Once we hit target occupancy we’ll remove the discount. If you see a 20%+ discount, you should definitely take advantage of it as that tour will sell at full price very soon.
Low Occupancy Discount
Like airlines, running tours at low occupancy is not good business. Usually, we need to hit 65% occupancy for the tour to be in a place where it makes sense for us to run. We will almost always run a tour regardless of occupancy, even if we lose money.
Instead, we’ll discount tours heavily to reach desired occupancy as we’d instead not make any money than cancel a tour. If you see a 10% to 20% discount, this is usually a low occupancy discount. Remember, we’re running this tour regardless of occupancy, but trying to cover more costs this way to break even.
