Snow King is a small ski resort within walking distance from downtown Jackson, Wyoming. There is no shortage of hotels in Jackson, but not all of them are worth staying in if you’re looking for a comfortable, relaxing stay. Here, we curated a list of the best ski hotels near Snow King for the full Jackson experience.
Top Ski Hotels and Places to Stay at Snow King Ski Resort
Located in downtown Jackson, Snow King Mountain Resort acts as a little brother of sorts to the massive Jackson Hole Mountain Resort 40 minutes to the north. With 1,500 vertical feet of skiing over 400 acres and three chairs, it is the perfect mountain for a day of learning or family fun.
Beware though, it is also home to one of the steepest runs in North America! Experienced skiers can try their luck on the double black diamond Exhibition Run. And for less dare-devil fun, snow tubing and night skiing are two more key activities here, and they are wildly popular with locals and tourists alike.
Whether you are looking for a low-key ski getaway or want to hit all the ski resorts in the Jackson area, Snow King should definitely be on your list. As a full-service resort, there are plenty of lodging options onsite. However, we like to think each vacation should be memorable. That’s why we put together a list of our favorite hotels and vacation rentals near Snow King. Each has a unique flare sure to please any budget, style, or preference.

This location is just a 5-minute drive from Snow King, which means it’s also close to the popular downtown stores and restaurants.
You’ll find recently renovated suites here with barn door accessories and other rustic mountain decor like leather chairs.
