You’ll meet your guide outside the Galleria dell'Accademia. Look for the exact location on your booking voucher. Head straight through security to start your tour.

It was a HOT day and being able to skip the lines was crucial! We met up with our group and were given our earpieces for the tour. Being able to hear our guide with all the people inside the gallery really helped make this experience what it was. Our guide was very knowledgable of all the art and history. And when you turn and enter that hallway and BOOM see the David it gave us chills. It’s like all the history and art books came to life. Def would recommend this tour. Skip the lines, beat the heat and get some info on all the great artwork inside.

The tour was too fast. We booked the longer tour with the Duomo, but it was actually two different tours and on the first one we could only see the statue of David and thats it because we needed to leave to meet with a new group for the Duomo tour.

This was our first time doing a guided tour with the Tour Guy, and it was wonderful. Our guide was very informative and answered all tourist questions without hesitation , which helped us connect more to the artwork we were seeing. We completed this tour as a very first “on our own” excursion outside of a “cruise excursion” and I would do it the same exact way over and over again. It was seamless and lovely, learned a lot and saw even more!! Better value for your dollar hands down and you can spend more time there compared to the cruise excursion (time permitting, if you are staying 2 nights in Livorno, etc.)
