Amazing food tour

The food tour was amazing! Our tour guide Sammy was fabulous! She did a great job explaining the stops along the way as well as adding in additional information she thought we would like to know. Excellent!

Wonderful Food and Wine

We had a wonderful time on the tour led by Federica, she took us to some local spots for some great wine and food. We went to three places, first, we had a great plate of crostinis and sliced meat, then some pasta at our next stop, and some traditional steak and potatoes at a trattoria. It was perfect for our first day in Florence, since we walked across the river from one of the squares in the city center, pointing out great places to eat and drink and getting great recommendations from the tour guide. The group was really friendly, we had a great time talking with other members of the group and we learned a ton from Federica, would definitely recommend the tour! Thank you!

The food was wonderful and a great sampling of different dishes. I loved that we got to sit down at each stop, learn about the culture, and chat with other guests. I only wish we had known the portions so we would’ve paced ourselves!

Great evening food tour with Lore’

We met up our food tour guide Lore at the designated spot 10 ‘minutes ahead of time, while she gave us a quick summary of what to expect. As we asked through the streets Lore added in some information on the artwork as we passed through it as she is very knowledgeable not just about the local cuisine but also the historic aspects of Florence. Our first stop consisted of appetizers which included cured meats and local delicacies which we learnt to enjoy the florentine way…To add, she has expert level knowledge of local wine, which I learnt a lot about without even food for my wine tour. (I have one coming up and I’m ready to show off. lol) Moving on to our primo, we stopped for a dried version of handmade pasta. As we walked along the streets, Lore would always keep us engaged, telling us stories from that particular area, piazzas, which made the historical elegance shine through and a lot more enjoyable than just walking the streets by yourself. Finally we stopped our main course restaurant, which was more than 150yrs old, for an awesome dinner. All our food came with wine pairing and expert knowledge from this dynamic lovely guide, Lore. She’s very passionate about local florentine ways of life in this region and that made all the difference to the way I felt during this tour. Our tour lasted for about 2.5 hrs. And I’d love to come back do a longer tour with her. Overall a 5 star experience!! Thanks Lore☺️

Florence Local Food Tour FUN!

Eleonora made the experience extremely enjoyable. Her personality is awesome and easygoing. We would have never discovered the food stops she had us experience. We were a small group from different parts of the globe and Eleonora created a comfortable setting at each separate location. Recommend this tour for an evening of new friends and good food.

Amazing - the best way to start your Firenze stay

We loved the tour we did with Teodora. She was so knowledgeable about Firenze’s history generally, as well as the food and wine. She generously shared her recommendations with us for places to eat and drink and they were spot-on. Brava Teodora and grazie mille!

Tried food I didnt even know existed

We had Dila as our tour guide and she is so passionate about, Florence, its cuisine and sharing her love of this amazing city. She was fun, enthusiatic and I think she knows more about Florence that google does. The restaurants we went to we would not normally have gone into and we definely had food we had never tried before. I would highly recommend this tour to immerse yourself in Florence
