Tuscany in a Day Tour from Florence

Long day with a ton packed in

We had an awesome day with Manolo! He was very knowledgeable about all of the area and had a great sense of humor. We would definitely recommend this tour! Make sure you are up for a lot of walking… expect a good night’s sleep when you return, as it is a long day.

Too long

Our guide was very good. The day was very long. We went to a winery but it was only to have lunch. Was hoping to learn about the winery and taste higher quality wines. The bottles served ranged between 8-10 euros online.

looong day of touring, but Alessandro made it special

Lots of travel time in the bus, but our guide, Alessandro made the time fly with his excellent commentary and stories. Be prepared for lots of walking, too. Lunch was nice with decent food and lots of wine. It would have been nice to eat outside but still on the chilly side in March. Siena was pretty and while it didn't quite have a special feel we enjoyed the walking tour. Loved San Gimignano and wish we had more time to explore on our own there, especially since it truly is a wonderful hill town with the emphasis on HILL. In hindsight, we would have preferred to skip Pisa and spend more free time in the other two towns. All in all a great day to see lots of sites that wouldn't have been as easy to see on our own, and Alessandro made it all the better. Highly recommended.

Great full day tour of Tuscany

This was a wonderful tour, a VERY long day and intense walking, but highly recommend. Manuel did an awesome job giving us info and keeping our tour together. Our 17 yo loved it, favorite part of her trip. I would recommend eating in Pisa bc you will be so tired getting back late into Florence. Also, there is a ton of walking and the majority of it is hills, so definitely make sure if you are unable to walk up hill for long distances, this IS NOT for you. I would say make this a part of your itinerary- you cover so much and you don’t have to drive.

Absolutely breathtaking and stress free!

How wonderful to see all the highlights of the region with an educated and personable guide! The wine, the meal, the people … all exceptional. Only wish there was more time to explore but the day was packed with lifetime memories!

Very enjoyable day exploring Tuscany

We really enjoyed our tour of Tuscany with Stefano as our tour guide. He provided interesting stories and entertainment the whole day. The highlight of the tour was the lunch at an organic farm. The food was the most delicious of our trip and the scenery was spectacular!

Tuscany in a day tour from Florence

The four stop tour was very nice. The tour guide was especially good, providing excellent information and background details. The lunch stop was a pleasant experience, with great food and ambiance.

Our tour guide, Angelia, was wonderful! She was knowledgeable but also fun, energetic and genuinely wanted to make sure we all had an exceptional time. Our driver (I believe his name was Casper?) was also excellent, very friendly and was able to expertly navigate the tight, winding roads. Would definitely recommend this tour!

Mano was excellent! Walk About Tours!

I would highly recommend this your. Mano was our tour guy and he was so informative, funny and kept the trip interesting. The food at the winery was superb as was the wine! We had so much food and the owners kept offering us more! Siena, San Gimignano were beautiful! O was happy to see the leaning tower of Pisa too! There is a lot of walking on this tour so wear comfortable shoes. Mano lets you know how much walking there is and how long you will be on the bus. The cathedral in Siena was so beautiful! A must see! This a definite must if you are staying in Florence!

Noemi was our tour guide!

This is an exceptional day trip. Noemi is a wonderful tour guide, very patient, very clear and a lot of fun! This is a very long day and she put in a great effort, talking to everyone right up until the last minute, answering questions and helping with directions, especially at the drop off point late in the evening. as far as the tour goes, everything is worthwhile and the Vineyard lunch completely exceeded our expectations. The staff offered extra food several times so you will not be hungry when you leave. They were also very generous with the wine, basically unlimited. One big negative of most of the tours that we’ve taken so far in Italy, is that they do not provide adequate bathrooms. There is no bathroom on the bus. Every stop we made during the day had to be planned around managing finding a bathroom and getting to the meeting point on time to respect the timeline of the group. There are very few public washrooms so I suggest you always choose a place where you can purchase a coffee or water and make sure they have a bathroom for you to use.

Giancarlo is the best!

The tour that my party had experienced was phenomenal. Even during the scorching heat, our wonderful tour guide, Giancarlo, did everything in his power to alleviate the nuisances that follow the high temperatures, therefore allowing our tour to be very joyful. In regards to the tour itself, there was no chance that we would have visited the sites included had we not purchased this tour from TheTourGuy. TheTourGuy had the entire schedule planned out, allowing for an easy trip through Tuscany and all the sites included. Giancarlo also provided us with recommendations for food, shopping, and gelato whenever we had free time throughout the sites.
