Great experience. It’s 450+ steps to get to the very top of the duomo, it’s done in small phases and worth every second. The cathedral is breathtaking with so much to take in and learn. Be on time, tip your extremely knowledgeable guides and love every minute of this experience!

Wow! Our tour included my husband and I and another couple - lovely! Our guide was super sweet and funny and her knowledge of the Duomo and Florence in general was amazing. She pointed out so many little aspects of the Duomo that we would have never known about. The dome climb was a workout but 100% worth it; the views from the top are unbelievable. Bonus of the tour: we had private access to a balcony, about halfway up the dome - very cool.

We really enjoyed our tour of the Duomo that included a climb to the top of the dome. Our guide, Giacamo, was very knowledgeable and funny. Everything was on-schedule, check-in was easy. It was well worth it.
We used The Tour guy on several other tours while in Italy and all had very knowledgeable guides.

Anna our tour guide was really good. Unfortunately our tour was changed and we only got the tour with the guide of the Duomo climb. Once we entered the stairs of the dome we no longer could hear Anna's comments. The view was spectacular!!!!!! We did make use of the museum, baptistry and underground passes that came with the ticket on later days, since most of our tour was cancelled on our chosen day. Highly recommend if you're willing to climb up a lot of stairs.

Our guide Jakob. ( James) outstanding very knowledgeable. Of the architecture of the duomo. And history just be ready to climb some steps and be ok with heights. But if you make it to the top it’s the most amazing view !

Now you need to be close to an Olympic athlete and bring your own AED machine to get to the top but boy was it worth it. I put this next to the electric bike tour as the best tours we went on out of 8
