Your day begins at the centrally located bus terminal, just steps from Santa Maria Novella train station. Board an air-conditioned coach and settle in as your trip leader introduces the day ahead.
Travel through Tuscany to the Ligurian Coast
Sit back and enjoy the scenic drive through rolling Tuscan hills toward the dramatic coastline of Liguria. Your trip leader provides insights into the region's history and UNESCO status while you watch the landscape transform from countryside to sparkling Mediterranean views.
Explore Manarola's medieval alleys
Your first stop is Manarola, one of the oldest and most picturesque villages in Cinque Terre. After a brief orientation, you'll have free time to wander narrow medieval streets, admire pastel-colored houses clinging to cliffsides, and sample the local sweet wine, Sciacchetrà.
Discover Vernazza's colorful port
Next, hop on the coastal train to Vernazza, often called Italy's most beautiful village. Stroll through its charming harbor lined with colorful fishing boats, climb up to the centuries-old castle for panoramic views, and soak in the authentic coastal atmosphere before continuing your journey.
Relax on Monterosso al Mare's beach

Very good tour guide and bus ride from Florance. The times in each of the villages was a little short and felt rushed to make sure we did not miss the next train and lose our group. I would have liked more time to hike but having to come from Florance and ride back it was already a long day.
Good tour if you want to see this fantastic region in a day.

This was a well organized tour where a train was primarily utilized to travel from village to village. The only boat ride was about 10-min long. We also did the 1-day Amalfi coast tour from Rome and we loved this day trip to Cinque Terre a lot more. It was far less crowded with tourists. You have time to relax on the beach at Monterosso as well which was nice!

We had a wonderful time on this day trip. I picked this tour as it was the best one that allowed for enough time at each town. A boat tour was also included and the tour group managed purchasing all the required train tickets. Constantino, our tour guide, was very friendly and we felt safe with Bruno as our bus driver.

The tour itself and Fedrica the guide and Luigi the driver did very well.
A big complaint though was the agents meeting us at the designated tour start point were ripping everyone off by charging an extra 20 of 30 euro each for themselves.
I told them no way were we paying extra and was told ok then.
This was the only bummer experience of the the tour.
