Your tour begins near the Florence Duomo
You meet your guide just steps from the Florence Duomo in central Florence. As the group gathers, your guide sets expectations for this focused 30-minute visit and explains how the cathedral and square shaped Florence’s religious life.
Enter the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore
With your skip-the-line Duomo tickets, you head straight inside the Gothic cathedral. While you take in the vast nave, marble floors, and the base of Brunelleschi’s dome, your guide gives a concise overview of how this church transformed the city’s skyline.
Gaze up at The Last Judgement
Standing beneath the dome, you look up to see Giorgio Vasari’s dramatic fresco of The Last Judgement filling the ceiling. Your guide highlights key scenes of angels, saints, and everyday Florentines, so you understand how this artwork combined faith, fear, and civic pride overhead.
Your tour finishes at the Misericordia Museum entrance
The guided portion ends by the entrance to the Misericordia Museum beside the cathedral. With your included access, you can continue inside at your own pace to explore its historic artifacts or step back into Piazza del Duomo to keep discovering central Florence on your own.

Good to know:
Dress Code: Knees and shoulders must be covered for both men and women to enter the Florence Duomo; entry may be refused otherwise.
Accessibility: This tour is suitable for wheelchair users, as the Duomo has an accessible entrance. The Florence Cathedral can also provide wheelchairs at the entrance to those in need. If you have doubts about your mobility, please contact us in advance, and we will do our best to accommodate you.
Please Note: This tour includes access to the interior of the Cathedral only and does not include a climb up Brunelleschi's Dome or a visit to the Campanile (Bell Tower). The guided portion ends after the Duomo visit, granting access to the Misericordia Museum for self-exploration.
Check-in: Arrive 15 minutes early for check-in at the meeting point so the group can depart on time.

Our tour guide was very knowledgeable about the Duomo, so we learned a lot about the history, as well as the mindset of the people that built and used the Duomo over time. We also didn't have to wait in line, though we did have trouble early on finding the meeting location, but that was solved by a friendly call from our tour guide.
