Itinerary
Meet your guide in central Florence
Your tour begins in central Florence, where you'll meet your guide at a central meeting point (exact location on your voucher). With a maximum of nine guests, your guide has plenty of time to get to know everyone, answer questions, and set the stage for the incredible art you're about to see.
Visit the Accademia Gallery with pre-reserved tickets
Breeze past the crowds and step inside the Accademia. Your guide sets the stage for what you're about to see, sharing how this gallery became home to Florence's most famous sculpture and why Michelangelo's work changed art forever.
Michelangelo's David and the Prisoners
Stand before David while your guide brings the story to life—how a 26-year-old sculptor transformed a rejected marble block into a symbol of Florence. Then explore the Prisoners, unfinished works that reveal the figures Michelangelo believed were trapped inside the stone.
Stroll past the Duomo and Via Calzaiuoli
Next, walk through Florence's Renaissance heart. Pass the towering Duomo with its terracotta dome and stroll down Via Calzaiuoli while your guide shares stories of rivalry, genius, and the creative explosion that defined this era.
Pause in Piazza della Signoria
Your guide brings you to the square where David once stood and where the Medici ruled. With a small group, it's easy to ask questions and dig deeper into the politics, art, and power struggles that unfolded right here.

It was great to skip the lines and see the sights. I would have preferred to move a little faster and see more of the Uffizi. The tour guide was very knowledgeable, but could have cut have said the same thing more quickly so we could get an overview of more of the art. It was still great and worth the money.

The museum tour guide was fantastic. Skipping the lines was greatly appreciated with the heat and humidity. We saw the main pieces in the museum but would definitely go back and spend more time looking at it all. Great tour and a good value

Cosetta is amazing! She is such a knowledgeable, kind, and professional guide! As a native to Florence she made us feel such at ease and was so good at pacing the tour (considering it’s a bit of a heat wave). Of course Michelangelo’s David is one of the main highlights and she does such a great job of explaining everything and putting it all into context. A very thorough and rewarding tour. Would absolutely do it all again!

We loved our Uffizi/David tour. The process was seamless and finding our guide could not have been easier. Our guide, Giada, was just amazin and her English was PERFECT. She did a great job of getting us up close and personal to the amazing pieces of art, like the David and the Birth of Venus. And while the tour covers the major highlights of the Uffizi, it ends inside the gallery so you can see more at your own pace. Additionally, the Uffizi itself is essentially idiot proof; there are two long hall ways with rooms off of them. It flows very well. Don’t forget the Rembrandt’s and Caravaggio’s on the FIRST floor (which is actually the second floor since Italian buildings start on floor Zero). Darren & Angela
