Uffizi with Marta

Marta was a great guide, shepherding us through the galleries and providing insightful information on the standout artwork. Very happy with this tour. However, the meeting point information on our ticket was incorrect, and we almost missed our tour as we had to call the tour operator to find out where the real meeting point was.

Good guide; poor audio

I thought the tour guide was excellent, but the audio set up was poor, resulting in the fact that I could only understand about 70% of the information given. I would suggest that the tour upgrade their earbuds.

Be careful in dealt with this coming.

Wait in line Uffizi Gallery Tour

Spent almost 40 minutes getting inside the museum. Because it was so busy there was “skip the line”. Was really hectic and our tour guide tried to keep us in place and figure out eta getting inside. Almost half of the allotted tour time was wasted and no additional time provided afterwards as we rushed through the exhibits.

Disappointing

We thought we paid for a half-day tour at $183 euro for two. We got 1 1/2 hours, with talks on the most obvious pieces at the Uffizi. There were more pieces and details in the Rick Steves audio we listened to after the tour. Our sound was intermittent and often cut out. The link to the location did not work on the voucher, so people were late arriving and we waited and waited. This was our third tour with your company, and not at the standard we would expect.

We loved this tour. The guide was very knowledgeable and we learned so much. She also did a great job navigating the crowds and helping us to see each and every piece of art before moving to a new piece.

Great way to get the highlights

Julia was informative and effective in providing the highlights of The Uffizi. I could have spent a whole day as there was so much to see. Incredible place with so much amazing art, history and culture to see and absorb. Make sure to leave time after the tour to view more.

Amazing Uffizzi

Great tour and even better tour guide. Easy directions to ticket pickup point. Tour was on time and very informative. Mary supplemented the tour with pictures on her tablet to illustrate a point or give examples of the art techniques used. We targeted specific rooms to ensure that we saw all of gallery’s most famous art works. This was really good as the gallery was booked out and there were people everywhere. Having said that we didn’t miss out on a thing as we were able to go back through the rooms at our leisure armed with our new found knowledge of the paintings and sculptures. Highly recommended.

OK, not great.

The guide was average. Our party of 6 agreed that Bourguese was far superior in educating us about the artwork. Thanks.
