The Duomo and Brunelleschi's Dome

Stand outside of Florence’s spectacular Gothic Cathedral. Taking over a century to build, the Duomo towers above all the other buildings in the city, topped by Filippo Brunelleschi’s Dome.

Baptistry Doors

At the next stop on this private walking tour of Florence, learn about the gates that Michelangelo deemed "The Gates of Paradise".

Florentine gelato

As we pass by our favorite gelato shop in Florence, you’re welcome to buy one to enjoy. You might also want to take note of this shop and come back after dinner for dessert.

If you are staying in Florence's historical center, your guide will collect from your hotel to begin the tour. We will contact you to get the details or feel free to email us or call us toll-free at one of the numbers at the bottom of the website.

fabulous private tour with Guido, his knowledge was superb and made us look at the statue of David in a whole new light , the walking tour before and after was just wonderful - certainly pointed out fascinating facts about the buildings and areas we were walking around that we would never have noticed had we just been wandering around alone - thank you so much

Our recent tour of Florence was absolutely unforgettable, thanks to our exceptional guide, Francesca. Fluent in English and always punctual, Francesca's friendly and thoughtful demeanor made us feel warmly welcomed from the start. Her incredible knowledge of Florence's rich history, coupled with her personal insights as a lifelong resident, provided us with a deep and engaging understanding of the city. Francesca's recommendations for the best gelato, pizza, and hidden gems around Florence were spot-on, enhancing our experience immeasurably. We couldn't have asked for a better guide and highly recommend Francesca to anyone looking to explore Florence.

Our guide Alma was very nice and very knowledgeable. However, the tour was much more in depth, and on a limited number of subjects than we expected.

Our guide, Francesca, was very informative and did a great job introducing us to Florence. We walked to most of the major sites while Francesca have a brief history of each one. Our visit to see the statue of David was prearranged, so we were able to enter the museum quickly. Her knowledge of art was very apparent and we really enjoyed this part of the tour. The only thing that would have enhanced the experience would have been a map to point out where we were at each site. Florence is a bit confusing for first time visitors and I would have benefited knowing where everything was in relation to my hotel and to other sites. This is a minor criticism as Francesca really did a great job!

Thorough tour of Florence and an amazing experience visiting Michelangelo's David. Lots of history and our tour guide Marta was very passionate about each stop and subject. We did find the language barrier to be a bit challenging during this particular tour. We would have appreciated more structure to the narrative and ability to answer questions.
