You’ll meet your guide outside the Galleria dell'Accademia. Look for the exact location on your booking voucher. Head straight through security to start your tour.

Walk the Hall of Prisoners
Down the main corridor, you'll pass Michelangelo's unfinished sculptures called the Prisoners. These marble figures look like they're struggling to break free from the stone, which is exactly what Michelangelo intended.

Then comes the moment everyone's here for. David towers over five meters tall, and the smooth white marble almost glows under the museum lights. Your guide points out details most people miss—the veins in his hands, the focused look in his eyes, the way his body weight shifts before battle.
Your tour finishes at the Accademia Gallery

It was a HOT day and being able to skip the lines was crucial! We met up with our group and were given our earpieces for the tour. Being able to hear our guide with all the people inside the gallery really helped make this experience what it was. Our guide was very knowledgable of all the art and history. And when you turn and enter that hallway and BOOM see the David it gave us chills. It’s like all the history and art books came to life. Def would recommend this tour. Skip the lines, beat the heat and get some info on all the great artwork inside.

The guide’s knowleget was only exceeded by his passion for the art. The background information was awesome and made the experience more than just looking at a statue. Your experienced artist vision. Highly recommended. Also, the fact just I did not have to wait in line in 38C weather made it more worthwhile.
