Amazing night in Florence

Lori was fantastic as our guide, and helped us enjoy one of the highlights of our trip. I have done a few of these food tours in Italy, and they are always great in all honestly, but Lori has an infectious personality which it is difficult not to like, and her knowledge of both the food and it's origins made this a little different, and so memorable. She even got my sense of humor, which not everyone does, so the night ended up being a good laugh, as well as educational. The food was outstanding too, should mention that I suppose, with the pasta dishes being really impressive, though the star was the Florentine steak, which I thought was cooked to perfection and tasted amazing. All in all I would recommend this tour to anyone who wants to do something a little different. It is tremendous value, a fantastic way to spend an evening, and the company is just great. You will love it. Thank you Lori. See you again soon I hope!

Great Food and Great Time

This tour was a lot of fun and perfect for our first night in Florence being able to walk around the whole town stopping at REAL wine windows and enjoying local cuisine, highly recommended.

Good Steak & Potatoes

The guide was great, Louisa. She knew her stuff, we learned so much. The tour should include pasta, the sample pasta was a tease. I would pay more for more pasta. ( and the sauce was excellent.) And salad at dinner would have been perfect. A vegetable or salad. We needed more food, less wine. ( or both) So many shops that we passed had lovely food choices. The steak and potatoes were excellent, The restaurant was a great choice.

Fun, Food and Florence

An excellent way to learn, eat and walk through part of Florence. The food was superb, the wine was wonderful and Francesco, our guide, was outstanding in every regard! My family and I were so so glad that we booked this fabulous experience! Highly recommended especially for a first (or second) visit to beautiful Florence.

Gave us a family style Italian Experience

We had such a great food and wine tour with Lori! We really wanted to try the famous Florentine steak, but felt like it would be way too much food for just the two of us. Doing the tour with a group ended up being the perfect choice. It gave us more of a family-style, local experience, and we had such a fun group of people that it made the whole evening even better. I highly recommend doing a food and wine tour when you first arrive somewhere new. It’s a great way to explore the area, try local food and wine, and learn more about the culture. We tasted four different wines, enjoyed the Florentine steak and other local foods, and Lori taught us about the different types of Italian food establishments and what makes each one different. It was actually really helpful for the rest of our trip! Lori was awesome. She was relaxed, fun, and knowledgeable without making it feel like a formal or scripted tour. She answered all of our questions, joined in on the fun, and made the whole experience feel easy and enjoyable. We had a great time and would definitely recommend Lori!

Victoria our host was knowledgeable, kind, super interesting and fun! She made us all feel at home and not only guided us through the culinary experiences but linked everything to the history around us. The food was the perfect amount and all delicious! Loved her and would definitely book again!

Food Tour Beyond Expectations

Our tour guide, Marco, did a fabulous job! He is genuinely in love with sharing some of Italys best food and wine, and a lovely person to get to know. We truly enjoyed spending the evening with him, all food tastings phenomenal, and especially enjoyed the wine!

What else can I say apart from antipasto, Florentine steak, gelato? It’s the OG origin story. You know it, now do it. Lori, our guide, was a legend. Food history, local history, inclusive and fun. We had a GREAT TIME

Well worth it!! Our guide (F) was great. Very knowledgeable made it very enjoyable!! I’m not crazy about rare steak, she took care of that too!! I can’t eat steak that rare, She had some steak put back on the grill for me! I wasn’t the only one! The tour is well worth the time and money!!
