Tuscany Wine Tour by Vespa from Florence

One of the best vacation experiences of our 16 days cruise and time in Italy

I have to write it again: One of the best vacation experiences of our 16 days cruise and time in Italy!!!!! We so enjoyed this tour. The check in process at Florencetown tour offices was quick, friendly and efficient. From there our AWESOME tour guides, Haider, Antonio, and Sara took over and the FUN began. They drove us out into the Chianti countryside and gave us expert instructions on how to ride the Vespas. Then off we went. They kept us safe of the roads, had us stop at lookout points and gave us great history information about the area. We then had a small snack and coffee. Then riding back a slightly different route to the Vespa storage area. We then walked up to a nice village and had a wine/olive oil tasting and then a very nice sit down served lunch that was fantastic. The guides then bussed us back to Florence with more fun on the way. What a great experience that I will not forget!!! Highly recommend this tour.

Great Ride Into the Countryside

Took a lesson and check ride on the scooter. They took us to an old church that was on a hill overlooking an olive Grove and vineyard. Then into Greve for a light snack in an open market. Finally back to the Diadema winery and restaurant for lunch and a tasting. Great tour.

This tour is a wow.

This tour exceeded our expectations in every way. The scenery, the stops, and the overall experience were top-notch.

Amazing experience with awesome guides!!

This experience is an absolute must do for anyone wanting to see the countryside. Our guides, Sebastian and Hiather, made the trip so much fun! They are both so knowledgeable about the city and region but also had great personalities that made it fun to spend time with them. Driving the vespas was so much fun and we always felt safe the whole time. I will recommend this experience to anyone that visits Florence, even if you’ve been before!

A MUST DO!

I cannot believe how much fun this tour was! The guides (Sara and Haider) were full of fun facts and so funny! They made every step of this safe, fun and educational. From the beginning to the beautiful end with lunch at the winery it was well worth it. And don’t worry if you decide not to drive a Vespa as being a passenger has its perks too!

Vespa- excellent tour

This tour was excellent! We met at the tour office, took a small bus to the Vespa facility (20 minute drive) received our helmets and took a 1/2 hour lesson on how to drive. You can drive one alone or double up on one vespa with your partner. We drove through the country side on our vespas, stopped at some beautiful sites ( one was a small church, another was a small town. They gave us a delicious sandwich and we had free time to explore the town. Then we drove our vespas back to the facility where we loaded the bus again to drive to a beautiful vineyard, olive orchard. We had a tour of the facility and did a wine tasting with some delicious snacks. We once again boarded the bus and drove back to the tour facility. Our tour guides were spectacular (4 of them) We felt very safe the whole trip. I would recommend this trip to everyone I know.

One of the best vacation experiences

This tour really exceeded all expectations. The guides were very organized and punctual, they had the coach bus and forms ready to take us to the Vespa location. They then walked us through a tutorial on how to use the motorbikes. I have no prior experience but was able to learn after a few laps around the practice area. For those who didn’t feel comfortable after trying, they had the option to ride on the back of a Vespa with the instructor or ride in a car behind us. The whole ride was about an hour and we stopped at many scenic spots overlooking the Tuscan countryside to take photos. The instructors were very careful, with one at the front of the group and one at the back, stopping traffic to wave us through left turns so we felt safe. We visited two wineries and had lunch at the second, and were able to see the cellars and the olive oil mill. A perfect way to experience Tuscany, would very highly recommend.

Great tour

We had a great time! Vespa ride was fun with beautiful views and both wineries and lunch were great.

We got rained out!

We got our helmets and Vespa lesson and then unfortunately it started to rain very heavily. The Vespa portion of the tour was cancelled and we had to do the tour by bus. Once we got over this disappointment the rest of the tour was great. The guides Grazia and Giuseppe were wonderful and went out of their way to ensure everyone was comfortable and happy. Too bad they couldn’t control the weather.

Extraordinary

The Vespa wine tour was beyond fun. The vespas are easy to drive and provide an amazing view of the entire scenery throughout the ride. The wine tasting and lunch was top notch very flavorful but not too filling. The tour guides were amazing. They kept us safe and cared for us throughout. If I could rate this a 10 I would give it a 10 +.

Amazing!

This was the highlight of our trip to Italy! Matt (Matthias I think is his full name) and his colleagues were very knowledgeable and made the trip so much fun! It was my first time riding a Vespa and I was a bit nervous- but they did a great job teaching me. By the end of the trip, I felt like I really had the hang of it!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

So much fun! Best day in Italy!

This was so cool, I never had driven a vespa or anything besides a very normal car so I was a little worried that it would be tough. It was super easy and fun! The wineries were great and we felt like we were straight out of that Diane Lane movie, Under the Tuscan Sun
