John and Carmine were great. John was very helpful and informative. Sara in Pisa was a great guide. Consuelo in Lucca should be more attentive to the group. She didn’t even realized she left people behind. She talked so much and so fast after a while you loose interest on what she’s talking about.

This trip was perfectly fine and nothing special which was expected as we were looking for transportation to both cities. We did not chose the tour portion and had free time. Our guide Federico was lovely and had good suggestions. We have used The Tour Guy before and they are well organized.
Great experience

Our group of 14, including 5 children between the ages of 8 and 14, loved the tour. Alex and Ricardo did a great job and we were able to see and do most everything we wanted. Pisa and Lucca are beautiful!
A great trip

Our walking tour in Lucca would have been a little better if our guide could have spoken a little better English. She tried hard but took time to think of words needed and lost groups attention. Wonderful lady and she tried hard.

I thought I signed up for a tour, but it’s just a bus ride to Pisa and Lucca. There is a guide on the bus, but once we arrived to the towns, folks were handed off to an official guide, except for the four people in my group. What did (or didn’t) I sign up for? And we arrived to Lucca during lunch time, so nothing was open. Maybe in the future, go to Lucca first, then to Pisa.

This was a great day tour from Florence. Perfect amount of time in Pisa and Lucca. Was a small group of 6people so felt like an almost private tour. This is hosted by a third party company and I was a little unsure but they did a great job and I was able to upgrade on the day to include the 2x walking tours which were fantastic. Would highly recommend!!!!

The Tour Guy bus trip to Pisa and Lucca was magnificent! Marco and Vera were wonderful teammates. Marco was a terrific bus driver and Vera was helpful and kind. The bus was comfortable and the price was less expensive than the other Tour in Firenze. Grazie

Overall this was a good day trip to Lucca and Pisa from Florence, with minor comments for feedback. I’ll start with the pros: - meet up point was easy to find, fast check-in. Tour started promptly. - bus was comfortable and spacious - the tour guide (Jacobo) very friendly, organized, did his job well! Thank you - you get about 45-60 mins of leisure time in both cities which was nice - in both Pisa and Lucca you get a dedicated tour guide. Valeria and Guido were very knowledgeable - lunch included and free dessert in Lucca - bus left back to Florence on time Cons - the tour said max 20 people but there was over 30 in attendance - In Pisa, the tour was shared between 2 languages - I was not aware of this when I signed up. I signed up for an English speaking tour which was correct but the guide also did the tour in Spanish. Some time was wasted doing the tour in 2 languages. Lucca had a dedicated tour guide for Spanish and a dedicated tour guide for English so this was not a problem - I’m not sure if there was more to see in Pisa but you only go to the piazza that has the church and leaning tower. You didn’t see much much else of Pisa other than walking from the bus to the tower - the tour isn’t done by the tour guy, it seemed to be another tour agency called ciao Florence. The staff were very good and helpful, I was just not aware of this when I booked. Overall - with the amount of time, it was a good way to experience Pisa and Lucca. I would still recommend this tour if you want a day trip outside of Florence.

Lucca Was So Cool!
July 06, 2021
We initially took this trip to see the Leaning Tower, which was cool don't get me wrong. But Lucca was such a cute town! I don't remember the name of the place where we ate lunch but the pasta was so good. Is there a way to find out the restaurant name? Great time overall!
