Queue too long

Whilst our Tour Guide was great - very friendly, informative, and professional, we still had to queue for half an hour to get in. As it was hot, this really did put a damper on the experience. Several school parties were going in before us.

Our guide was great, super accommodating and even sweet talked a few workers to help get my daughter, who has a broken foot, skip some of the wait lines. It was super hot inside as the AC wasn’t working.

A fun, informative intro to one of the most important museums on the planet

Our guide was fabulous and fun. It may have been a little too comprehensive for my liking, but I think for most people who are inclined to book tours, it’s probably just the right amount of information: enough backstory on the museum itself, along with insights into some of the key artworks and artists, without taking the entire day to get through everything. The tour was the perfect setup to then roam freely about the cabin and take in this incredible museum. My only critique is that the audio quality could use some improvement. The guide’s mic picked up a lot of surrounding noise, which made the narration harder to follow at times, especially in a busy museum environment. The headphones sounded quite tinny as well, and since the experience depends so much on clearly hearing the guide, a modest upgrade to the audio setup would make an already great tour even better.

Our skip-the-line Uffizi Gallery Tour was an outstanding experience and one of the highlights of our time in Florence

While I unfortunately cannnot recall our guide’s name, she was absolutely fantastic. Her knowledge of the Uffizi Gallery, its history, and the masterpieces housed within its walls was exceptional. She brought the artwork to life with engaging stories, historical context, and insights that we would never have gained exploring the museum on our own. The tour was well-paced and focused on the gallery’s most important works, allowing us to see all the major highlights, including the incredible paintings by Leonardo Da Vinci and other Renaissance masters. Our guide did an excellent job explaining the significance of each piece and helping us understand how these works shaped the history of art. The skip-the-line access was also a huge benefit, allowing us to maximize our time inside on of the world’s most important museums rather than waiting in long queues.. This was especially helpful as my wife is currently on crutches. I would highly recommend this tour with The Tour Guy to anyone visiting Florence, especially those with an interest in art, history, or the Renaissance. The combination of an expert guide, and a thoughtfully curated tour made for a truly memorable experience.

Ok but could have been better

Spent too long on second floor covering the Virgin Mary paintings. Would have preferred more time on the artwork on the first floor which had michaelangelo and davinci

Not worth the money. Guide spent too much time just repeating herself over and over. Very disappointing to be honest. And we never made it to the “main exhibit” as she called it because the line was too long to enter the room
