Florence in a Half Day by Bike Tour

Great bike tour!

We had an awesome time! Our guide was very knowledgeable and kind (I’m s nervous bike rider)! She even gave us recommendations for the rest of our trip in Italy!

Gloria was a fantastic guide, easy to understand, a wealth of knowledge, and always checked to make sure everyone was keeping up. We saw so much more quickly on bike than we could have by walking. Just be aware that the pavement is rough and bumpy so it can be hard to keep bicycles going in a straight line. It was VERY crowded with people on our day, so we had to walk the bikes in several places. That was the safest.

Brilliant - easy to do in the heat and no hills!

Well worth it, our guide (whose name I have forgotten, to my shame) is a real local and was full of fascinating insights and information.

Florence by bike

My husband and I are outdoorsy so we naturally wanted to do a bike tour. We saw a lot more via the bikes than we would have on foot. It was a National holiday when we got here so the bike ride was a little tricky with such crowded streets. I would recommend this tour as the guide was very knowledgeable and ready to answer all our questions.

Great Overview

This was just what we wanted an overview of the main sites. The bikes allowed us to cover a lot of area with lots of information in a short time. The route was excellent, mostly on bike paths and then in the crowded areas we did walk the bikes. Our guide Irene was excellent, very knowledgeable and personable!
