Your lovely host will welcome you with open arms once you arrive at her home in the center of Florence. The exact location will be shared a few days before your experience, as it depends on the closest available Cesarina in your area. Along with your intimate group of no more than 8 guests, you’ll be led to her very own kitchen for an unforgettable cooking demonstration. Your Cesarina- the traditional name for a woman who cooks pasta, will use her family’s own recipes to create a decadent 4-course meal for you. Follow closely as she shares her own culinary secrets to making a classic Florentine lunch or dinner, complete with a pasta, main dish, appetizer, and dessert!
Finally, devour your delicious home cooked meal as you enjoy a family-style dinner with your Cesarina and fellow group members. Once you say goodbye to your host and her family, be sure to spend some time walking off your meal as you explore her vibrant neighborhood!

Once you arrive at your Cesarina’s beautiful home in Florence, ring the doorbell and get ready to experience the ultimate level of Italian hospitality! After your lovely host warmly welcomes you into her home, you’ll be introduced to your small group of fellow travelers. Since this class only allows for 8 guests at most, you’ll get to enjoy an intimate dining experience together- just like a typical Italian family!
Cooking Demo
Once everyone has gathered, follow your delightful Cesarina to her kitchen for a sensational cooking demonstration! Using her own traditional family recipes, your wonderful host will show you how to make an authentic, 4-course Italian meal!
While the exact recipes will vary based on your host and the season, your meal will include an appetizer, pasta dish, main course with a side, and a dessert. A few classic Florentine delicacies that may be on the menu include pasta with ragu, vegetable frittatas, savory meatballs, homemade tortelli, and tiramisu!
