Dress Code: Knees and shoulders must be covered for both men and women to enter St. Mark’s Basilica; entry may be refused otherwise. Please avoid wearing sandals, hats, shorts, skirts, or tops that expose your shoulders.
ID Requirement: A valid government-issued ID is required for entrance to St. Mark's Basilica. The name on your ticket (entered at check-out) must match the name on your ID, or you will be refused entry.
Accessibility: This tour involves extensive walking, standing, and climbing stairs. It is unfortunately not wheelchair accessible and not suitable for guests with mobility issues.
Weather Advisory: St. Mark’s Basilica may be closed unexpectedly and without much notice due to adverse weather events, maintenance, or safety reasons. If this occurs, you will be notified as soon as possible.

Booking this tour is really valuable just for the quick access into the basilica and access up to the terrace. I highly recommend booking or going at 11 am so you are on the terrace when the noon bells chime in the square, super cool. However, if anyone in your party has limited mobility (especially with stairs), I do not recommend this excursion. The meeting point was slightly difficult to find as it's a bit of a walk behind the basilica and over a bridge with stairs -- just to walk as a group to the front of the basilica anyway -- and the stairs inside the building up to the terrace are A STRUGGLE. Super steep and cramped. I liked ending on the terrace which gave us the freedom to stay as long or as little as we wanted.
