Nicole led our small group to visit Murano and Burano. This is a great way to see a bit more of the area. It could have been a little less time in Murano to allow more time in Burano but would recommend.

Our tour guide was lovely and very knowledgeable the glass blowing site may have dragged on a little longer than needed. I loved exploring burano. Wish we had more time there. We were also a little less than interested in the lace shop. Maybe if it was more interactive? Overall it was a nice activity.
Great taster for island visits

Cecilia was really friendly and great at communicating tour details and local insights into Murano, Burano and the other islands. We enjoyed meeting and viewing the artists lace making and glass blowing. It was interesting to hear about these traditional and very old practises and how they are being perpetuated into the future.
Please buy from the stores visited as these items are 100% authentic and are not manufactured anywhere but Venezia.

Enjoyed the tour. It was a bit of a walk to get to the boat but other than that it was very nice. It is definitely worth the time to see the islands. It would have been nice to have more time there. Our guide was very friendly and enjoyable.
Almost perfect tour…

We had a great time with Francesca on this tour. We loved hearing the history and other facts about these islands and the time allowed in each place was adequate. Francesca was very helpful explaining things on both islands and also allowing us free time. The only negative for us was that we did not know that there would be a 10-minute brisk walk over 5 bridges to board the boat. That was challenging for some in our group and we almost got left behind because of that. It would be good to place that information online for people considering the tour. Otherwise, we had a lovely time.

This was a good way to get a tiny taste of some of the other islands near Venice. Our tour guide, Flavia, efficiently led us from the meeting point to the boat, was very knowledgeable, and especially passionate about Burano. On the way back to Venice, she offered some great suggestions for places to visit in Venice for guests once the tour was over.
However, this tour did feel like more time was spent getting to and from the islands than actually being on the islands. That isn't the guide's fault. The time on Murano was sufficient for the brief glass demonstration and shopping at the factory, but there is really no other time to explore the island outside of this. The time on Burano felt extremely limited, which was a bummer after hearing so much about it from our tour guide. Even though it is a very small island, there really wasn't enough time to see the lace demonstration, and see the colorful houses, and try the food places that were recommend.
As long as you know that you are just sampling these islands and want to learn more about them from a knowledgable and friendly tour guide while on the boat, then you will enjoy this tour. You will get a good idea where you want to come back to and spend more time.

We really enjoyed our trip, grazie! 🤗
But the best part was our WONDERFUL tour guide Claudia. She was fantastic with our special needs daughter. She explained a lot of the local history very well. She was always there to help if we needed her.

Claudia was a wonderful guide with lots of secrets to share with her group, whether it be that her grandmother can sew the 7 stitches of the Burrano lace makers or her recipe for Lemoncello tiramusu. The boat trip around the lagoon was fast, a little choppy, but not uncomfortable. We felt it was a great tour and would happily recommend it.

Claudia was a terrific tour guide! Gave us all kinds of fun and interesting tidbits about Venice and the surrounding islands. The glass in Murano truly is beautiful. We got to see the workers make a glass lamp shade. Burano is a lovely place for a passiaggiato.
