Meet your guide at St. Mark’s Square
Your tour begins between the iconic columns of San Marco and San Teodoro in St. Mark’s Square. Here, you'll meet your guide and get a brief introduction to the excursion ahead.
Private Boat to Murano Island
Board a sleek boat bound for Murano Island. As you cross the Venetian Lagoon, you’ll pass clusters of small islands and enjoy the calm waters that feel worlds away from Venice’s crowded canals.
Glass blowing demonstration
On Murano, visit a glassblower’s studio and see centuries of skill in action. Feel the heat as molten glass transforms into a shining piece of art while your guide explains the craft that made this island famous around the world.
Burano Island
A short boat ride takes you to Burano, a vibrant fisherman's island known for its colorful houses. Your guide will explain the tradition behind the bright facades—painted so fishermen could find their homes through the dense lagoon fog.

We had a wonderful experience on the Murano and Burano Half Day Boat Tour, and a big thank you to Silvia for making it so enjoyable!
The tour was very well organized, and the boat ride itself was smooth and comfortable. Murano was fascinating—watching the glassmaking demonstration was a highlight—and Burano was absolutely beautiful with its colorful houses and relaxed charm.
Silvia was an excellent guide: friendly, knowledgeable, and engaging throughout the trip. She shared interesting insights without overwhelming us, and the timing at each stop felt just right.
Overall, it was a perfect way to explore these islands in a short amount of time. Highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Venice!

This half day tour started at 1:30pm and included a boat ride to Murano and Burano and back to Venice. We saw the glass blowing and were able to purchase items in Murano. Burano was a very relaxed island, we saw how the local lace was made from one of the shops and had and hour to explore the island for ourselves

I would have given this 5 stars, but unfortunately it was raining, so we couldn’t properly see the sights from the boat while the tour guides were explaining them.
Our guide, Silvia, was very engaging from the start and made the experience enjoyable despite the weather. Murano’s glass art was impressive, and Burano is charming and rightly famous for its lace.
If you have half a day to spare, I’d definitely recommend this tour—especially on a sunny day.

Francesca, our guide in route two and from the islands, was terrific, and very knowledgeable, as well as personable. Two little information was offered about the glass factory and production. As a result, there was an excess amount of time for browsing the showroom and what little else there was to see of Murano before going on to Burano.

Claudia was our guide and she was quite nice. Gave us good information about the islands and the history while we were traveling to Murano. Once there she was very clear on what we were going to see and have time for , then exactly what time we needed to be back at the boat. The same for Burano.
For the two islands, Murano was fun to see the amazing work of the glass blower, he did a couple demonstrations for us and after there is a glass shop to browse. Some amazing pieces to see ion that showroom for sure.
Burano honestly the lace shop wasn't all that, but the town itself is pretty nice.
There wasn't enough time to truly enjoy the town, but make sure you go to the Crema Gelato shop, it has the best Gelato I've ever had.
Over all a good tour, just need more time at Burano to really enjoy the town
Silvia is great
