Cruise over to Burano island
A short boat ride takes you to Burano, a vibrant fisherman's island known for its colorful houses. Your guide will explain the tradition behind the bright facades—painted so fishermen could find their homes through the dense lagoon fog.
Witness a delicate lacemaking demonstration

Accessibility: Unfortunately, this tour is not wheelchair accessible. Please note that all guests will need to cross four bridges with the guide from the meeting point to the dock to board the private boat.
Please note: As this tour includes a private boat ride, it is very important that the group stays on time. Please be very aware of the meeting points given by your guide after free time on each island. The boat will need to depart at the scheduled time. Ferry transportation is available for return to Venice from Murano and Burano if you decide you'd prefer to stay longer on the islands.
Guide: This tour does not include a walking tour of the islands. Instead, your guide will lead you to the glassblowing and lacemaking demonstrations on each island, offer helpful insight toward your free time, and assist all guests while on the private boat transfer.
Check-in: Arrive 15 minutes early for check-in at the meeting point so the group can depart on time.

My daughter and I did the Murano and Burano tour and it was great! It was so interesting to see glassblowing and lace-making. The towns themselves were charming and quaint! We would definitely do this tour again!

Aside from the infomercial for the glass factory it was a good time. I wish the time allowed in the second island was longer as it was inadequate. The tour guide Flavian was informative and helpful. She was also clearly one of the most beautiful women I have ever met.

We’d highly recommend this tour - it’s a fantastic, fun and relaxing way to not only visit Murano and Burano but learn about the history of the lagoon and its many interesting islands. Our tour guide, Francesca was great - friendly, excellent communicator and super knowledgeable about the entire area teaching us along the way. Murano: fascinating demonstration by a Master glass blower - amazing artists. Note: items in the factory store are very $$$ (they are one of a kind pieces). We would skip the store and spend the time walking down to Murano center. Burano: a very nice surprise, charming little village with beautiful buildings, lots of character and lovely streets to wander around with shops and cafes,

Boat ride was nice. Glassblowing demonstration was pretty short, more time for selling you glass there. You don’t get to see any other part of Murano besides the factory except for what you see on the boat. Burano you do get to explore the island, really need more time to enjoy it though.

Wonderful tour. Murano was very interesting to see the various artists in the gallery and the extensive collection of glass pieces. Burano is a unique and colorful place. The lace demonstration wasn’t that impressive and sadly it is a dying art. The town is much more interesting than the lace making demo.

We had a great time on this tour. Flava was an excellent tour guide. I could have spent more time watching the actual glass blowing but understood the over all tour. Didn't have time, on our trip, but have loved going back to Burano, so much we didn't get to see, a little rushed. Overall great experience.
