Guide tips
Meet your guide at St. Mark’s Square
Your tour begins between the iconic columns of San Marco and San Teodoro in St. Mark’s Square. Here, you'll meet your guide and get a brief introduction to the excursion ahead.
Private Boat to Murano Island
Board a sleek boat bound for Murano Island. As you cross the Venetian Lagoon, you’ll pass clusters of small islands and enjoy the calm waters that feel worlds away from Venice’s crowded canals.
Glass blowing demonstration
On Murano, visit a glassblower’s studio and see centuries of skill in action. Feel the heat as molten glass transforms into a shining piece of art while your guide explains the craft that made this island famous around the world.
Burano Island
A short boat ride takes you to Burano, a vibrant fisherman's island known for its colorful houses. Your guide will explain the tradition behind the bright facades—painted so fishermen could find their homes through the dense lagoon fog.
Lacemaking demonstration
You’ll then step inside a small workshop to watch artisans practice the intricate art of lacemaking. Discover why Burano's delicate lace was once treasured by European royalty and see firsthand the incredible patience and skill this craft demands.

Claudia was our guide and she was quite nice. Gave us good information about the islands and the history while we were traveling to Murano. Once there she was very clear on what we were going to see and have time for , then exactly what time we needed to be back at the boat. The same for Burano.
For the two islands, Murano was fun to see the amazing work of the glass blower, he did a couple demonstrations for us and after there is a glass shop to browse. Some amazing pieces to see ion that showroom for sure.
Burano honestly the lace shop wasn't all that, but the town itself is pretty nice.
There wasn't enough time to truly enjoy the town, but make sure you go to the Crema Gelato shop, it has the best Gelato I've ever had.
Over all a good tour, just need more time at Burano to really enjoy the town
Silvia is great

We really enjoyed tour. Our guide, Alexandria was great. Tour of Murano was good, and everyone will enjoy the beautiful glass work, but for us, Burano was the highlight, and shouldn’t be missed while visiting Venice. Our private boat was great.
Fantastic!

The tour was interesting, well contained and well directed. Our guide was great. It would have been nice to have a bit more time to look around Murano though as the showroom and demo used up most of the time. Overall I would highly recommend

We had a great time and was so excited to see the glass blowing demo. I really liked that it was a mid size group and you could see what was going on. The opportunity to see the gift shop and all of their items on display was breathtaking. Burano was a great little area. Enjoyed just walking around shopping and enjoying some gelato.

Our 1/2 day tour to Murano and Burano was fabulous! Our guide was knowledgeable and engaging, and the small group size was really nice for the boat ride and tours. We especially liked Burano - the village is charming - just wish we had more time there for lunch!
