I would highly recommend this tour. Our guide, Daria, born in and still living in Venice. Do this tour first because she was very knowledgeable on many local restaurants, beyond those visited on this tour. We had 4 stops, the first 2 we sampled authentic Venetian Cicchetti, wine and a sprintz all delicious. The third stop we had a creamy clam risotto and wine, magnifico. There's no better way to finish than with an excellent artisan gelato.

The sit down meal was ordinary, other stops food was great. Our guide, Chantel, made the experience exceptional. We were only ones on our tour others canceled, she shared a lot of Venice history as well as the food, and answered our many questions. Felt like having a relative or old friend taking us around.

1. Tour guide was value added with historical information and current happenings. 2. Walking was reasonable distance between food/beverages locations. 3. Each venue had genuine Italian setting, with quality food and beverage selections. Portions were also appropriate-enough, but not too filling. 4. Size of the group (4 couples/8) contributed to engaging conversation. 5. Good introduction to Venice "local" tastes.

I'm really glad we did this tour! Our guide was great, knowledgeable and fun! I'm sorry to not remember her name :-( The food was a great variety, tried some new things like the Pasta al Nero di Seppia that I otherwise probably wouldn't have gone for, but it was really good! I also liked the historical information that came out as we walked Venice, an added bonus. Treat yourself and sign up, you'll be very glad!

My entire family had memorable experience. Our guide was great!! She introduced us to artichoke liquor, and everyone loved it. Olympia was a great guide and the 8 of us had fun. The food was good but not great.
