The tour we took of Doge’s palace and St Marks basilica was so interesting. I knew very little of the early history of Italy specifically Venice. Our guide, Marco, really provided an exceptional experience : he’s a wonderful storyteller with facts and wit. I would recommend taking one of his tours!
