Vania was our guide for Murano and Burano. She was outstanding! She shared unique insights about these islands and their relationship to Venice, and since she is a native of Venice, was able to provide a very rich perspective. She made the trip amazing!

Awesome day! The Murano and Burano was in the morning. It worked out great. They take you by private taxi ( the day before we went to Borano and torchello by vaperotto bus. Took almost 2 hours each way!!). Not a lot of history but cute towns and interesting glass making. With a discount in the shop. The afternoon we did the palace. Prisons and church. It was more like I have experienced with Roman guy tours in Rome in 2019. Lots of good history. Small group. Fluent in English. The gondola ride was nice. To not have to negotiate prices.
Amazing tour to Murano and Burano

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Our tour with The Tour Guy to Murano and Burano islands was exceptional. The guide was knowledgeable, engaging, and made the experience truly memorable. The glass-blowing demonstration in Murano was fascinating, and the vibrant colors of Burano were breathtaking. Everything was well-organized and exceeded our expectations. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Venice!

We loved the tour of St. Marks Basilica and the Doge's Palace. Our tour guide was excellent. The portable earphones work so great. The day was really wonderful and we enjoyed the pace ...while it is a lot for one day ...but it was enjoyable! Seven areas that were a challenge: #1. The crazy unorganized mass of people meeting for 4-5 different "The Tour Guy" tours with only one precious lady who has a phone (that was so small) to admin all of us. #2. Delays? ...We arrived at the requested 15 minutes early and then waited so long in the confusion of "what group are we in?" and then we waited 15 extra minutes for the "late guy." #3. We had 35 minutes for lunch and never had clear directions on where to meet after lunch (I checked the email-no directions there) ...we happened to find out (thankfully). #4. The Gondola boat organization was also ridiculous...please get the organizer an iPad or something to see the names of the people who paid a lot of money to attend this tour :). #5. The Gondola ride was awkward as a mother and her tiny daughter sat in the very comfortable seats and we sat on the odd side seats that were not comfortable at all. #6. Murano was a nice boat ride but two men fell as they entered the lower seating area...there was no one there to tell them of the extra step that blended into the flooring. Also, Murano was kind of long and frustrating if you didn't want to "buy" the glass...the presentation was very nice through. #7. Look at the email attachments you send your guests...it's very unorganized and there is no list of itinerary or times and directions on where to meet after lunch. I would really spend some time shoring up the admin documents you email and the admin that interact with the people...it really all felt confusing. I know that sounds hard, but it's meant to help...we know you all are doing your best, but this tour was pricey and we think you can get it worked out. Venice is amazing! Thanks.

Our guides Filippo and Serina were fantastic. Filippo knows soooo much about both Doge’s palace and St. Mark’s. It is overwhelming how much beauty and history there is to explore in both places yet he provided a thorough presentation and could answer all the questions guests had. The gondola ride was such fun! Then came lunch break and the afternoon tour. Serina made everyone feel welcome and knew a great deal about the many islands of Venice. The demo in Murano was interesting and brief while the follow up visit to the glass showroom was like visiting a museum. The items available inside are exquisite but pricey. We loved visiting Burano. It was notably peaceful after much time spent in the crowds of the Venice city center. The colorful houses are delightful and the Trexento gelato is the best we’ve tried yet 😋
