Good to know:
Accessibility: This tour involves a moderate amount of walking and many old stone floors and stairways. It is unfortunately not wheelchair accessible. If you have any doubts about your mobility, we suggest taking a Catacombs Private Tour so your needs can be better accommodated.
Dress Code: The catacombs are a sacred site; both men and women must cover their knees and shoulders at all times, even in the heat, so a shawl/scarf/sweater is recommended.
Catacomb Visit: The Catacombs of Priscilla are normally visited. During closures, the visit may take place at the Catacombs of San Sebastiano instead.
Weather Advisory: For cooler seasons, we recommend bringing a light jacket, as the catacombs are underground and the Capuchin Crypts are indoors.
Check-in: Arrive 15 minutes early for check-in at the meeting point so the group can enter sites on time.

I had visited the Capuchin crypts and the catacombs of Domitilla so coming back for an after hours tour was special. The young lady who did our tour in the catacombs was very knowledgeable and helpful with explaining things and showing very interesting parts of the catacombs.

We truly enjoyed this tour! Arvin was spectacular with background and history but what put the tour over the top into awesome was the portion of the tour in the catacombs that was conducted by a nun from the church where they are located. I don’t have enough words to describe just how dedicated and informative she was all with a sense of humor and welcoming attitude. Go!!!

Arvin our guide was amazing, giving us a tour that anyone would be envious of. The crypts were exactly what we hoped they would be and in a fantastic twist of fate at the catacombs one of the sisters who reside and take care of the “catacomba di priscilla” was available to take us through the catacombs and she gave us details that no one other than a keeper of the facility could give us. Then afterwards Arvin spent some time giving us some dinner recommendations for our last night in Rome. It truly was amazing!

This was a great tour. The only way it could have been better is if was dark outside. Our guide was awesome, and even dropped a "Mama Mia!" about the traffic.

I am Catholic and so there were various parts of the tour that were very meaningful to my faith. It’s divided into sections : the second half touring the catacombs with Convent Sister Lydia was special. More time for the Convent/Catacomb Gift shop would have been preferred.

Educational and amazed at how our past dealt with the passing of fellow friars and family. To have the ruins existent today and the opportunity to visiting them is an experience to partake. Fiona provided a wonderful presentation and in a fun type of delivery given the topic.

While maybe not something that initially tops your list when visiting Rome, I suggest that maybe it should be. Our tour guide was fantastic offering a lot of information on how the catacombs came to be and their history over the years. The Capuchin museum and crypts was interesting but the star of the show for us was the catacomb of Priscilla. Walking through the tunnels, and seeing ancient artwork was truly fascinating and our guide was one of the nuns from the church that oversees them.
