One tour adds the underground chambers with the Roman Forum and Palatine Hill, and families can book a treasure hunt version for kids.

Arena Floor Tours

Standing on the Colosseum Arena Floor is a moment that defies time—where gladiators fought to the death under the eyes of thousands. With our Special Access Colosseum Arena Floor Tour, you’ll walk through the Gladiator's Gate, just as they did, and step onto the actual floor where brutal combat unfolded. One guest raved, “Being on the arena floor was a surreal experience—like I had traveled back in time!”

For those looking to dive even deeper into history, our Semi-Private Colosseum Underground Tour takes you into the hidden chambers beneath the arena. Explore the dungeons where gladiators and exotic animals awaited their fate. Then, head up to the arena floor and gaze at the grandeur of ancient Rome. “Our guide was incredible! The underground tour was fascinating, and being on the arena floor was just unforgettable,” said one thrilled traveler.

For a truly personalized experience, the Private Colosseum Tour with Roman Forum & Palatine Hill lets you explore the ancient city like a VIP.
