Meet your guide between TMark Hotel Vaticano and Caffé Vaticano at the top of the big staircase (Viale Vaticano, 100). You'll find our friendly welcome staff there holding The Tour Guy signs.
In addition to wearing or bringing clothing that covers your knees and shoulders, it's recommended to wear comfortable shoes. You're also welcome to bring a water bottle as it can get hot inside the Vatican during the summer months.

I want to start with that the tour was great. A little long (especially for my 18 year old son), but our guide was excellent.
However, we booked a tour with St. Peter’s, and I chose this tour over others for that reason. A week out we were told that the Vatican had changed the rules, and as a result St. Peter’s would not be included. I was fine with the change until I realized how many tours were inside the Basilica that day. I would have appreciated a shorter/cheaper tour since the itinerary significantly changed after booking.
