Greatest tour guide ever

This was a great experience. I have been here before, but it was the first time for my wife and her friends. The guide was excellent and really enjoyed our time. Skipping all the lines was the best.

We had a wonderful semi private tour with Aiko of the Vatican. She was so knowledgeable and pleasant. And the tour was just right in that it hit on all the major highlights, without causing us to be overwhelmed. Aiko and The Roman Guy get an A++ from us. Highly recommend!

Semi-Private Vatican Tour with Sistine Chapel

Sara was an awesome tour guide! We were among the first to tour the Vatican that morning (7:45am) and it was well worth getting up early. Not only did we avoid the crowds that Sara said we would surely be in had we come later but it was fun, very informative and the sculptures, paintings and frescoes were breathtaking. We highly recommend going with The Roman Guy and Sara for your tour of the Vatican and Sistine Chapel. You will then visit St Peter's on our own immediately afterwards.

Fantastic Vatican Tour

Had a great semi private tour. We were a group of 3 and were joined by another couple. Dominico was excellent- showing us the best spots for photos and explaining in detail the top sculptures, tapestries, historical figures. Spent considerable time in st Peter’s with incredible insight into construction and art. Sistine Chapel visit was with a private entrance- as was entry to St Peter’s. That alone was worth the cost - as the crowds can be overwhelming.

Experiencial Vatican Tour

Marina did a fabulous job providing information, history, and background on the items in the Vatican Museum and Sistine Chapel. We were also able to tour the Basilica on our own after our tour. I would recommend this tour and will consider using The Tour Guy again in the future.

Lia was amazing, the depth of her knowledge and information she shared was awesome. Even with the huge mass of poeple she managed to make sure we had the best viewing spots and had time to take it all in.

Sarah is a great guide

We enjoyed the tour with Sarah as she has 21 years of experience and a great sense of humour. She is gracious and patient. It is worth the money spent to save waiting in line for 2 hours. Plus you get great insights with Sarah and her visuals.

Amazing Semi-private Vatican Tour

I highly recommend the semi-private Vatican Tour. This was my first experience with The Tour Guy and I will definitely use them again. Our tour guide, Nicoletta, was so knowledgeable, kind, & energetic. We were a group of two families including kids ages 11-14. Nicoletta did an amazing job navigating through the crowds and helping us to understand some of the most important pieces in the museums. She paced the tour just right and I am so grateful because it could have been very overwhelming without her guidance. Thank you Nicoletta!

Semi private Vatican Tour

Sarah was an excellent tour guide!! She had a wealth of knowledge, knew the in’s and out’s of touring the Vatican and how best to proceed on a busy day; she was also very friendly and aware of the members of her group at all times. Delightful tour!!

Amazing guide with more knowledge than a university professor!

Our guide Elizabeth was simply amazing she was like an encyclopaedia of knowledge of art. She brought rich value to our experience as we are not art lovers but told the stories behind almost every element of the Vatican tour. I would have enjoyed more time with the guide inside St Peter’s as we were left to figure out everything on our own after almost 3 hours of an art history tour. I would have liked more of the story of the Vatican as opposed to Vatican art and antiquities. Overall still 5 starts all the way and with the extra for the small group.

Great Tour

Was awesome to have someone help navigate the chaos of the Vatican and help you skip the line while accomplishing a lot in a short period of time. Tour guide was lovely and knowledgeable.

Our tour was wonderful! The guide was knowledgeable, kind and very helpful. We would not have had the same opportunity without her. We got in without standing in line and directed throughout. I would highly recommend this tour.
