Sistine Chapel
See Michelangelo's masterpiece in all its glory. Fully completed in 1541, the ceiling in painted in stunning frescoes depicting scenes from throughout the Bible.
One of the world's most famous works of art, it is also a functioning chapel. For this reason, speaking in the chapel and photography are prohibited, but you can purchase renderings from the gift shop as keepsakes.
Please note: As the Sistine Chapel is a place of worship, everyone who enters must cover their knees and shoulders. Otherwise, you may be refused entry to this portion of your tour. A great option is to bring a shawl/scarf/sweater with you. That way, you can cover your knees and shoulders when necessary.
Vatican Museums
Over the centuries, the Vatican has developed one of Europe's most impressive collections. In addition to Michelangelo, Raphael has a strong presence of art here too. See his great works including the School of Athens, the painting that found directly on the Vatican tickets.
On the way to the Sistine Chapel, you will take in the Gallery of the Maps, Gallery of the Tapestries, and Gallery of the Candelabras. Though one can hurry through these halls on the way to the Chapel, these galleries are absolutely worth visiting in detail.

Showed up to the Vatican and saw the regular line wrapping around, going farther than I could even say. You HAVE to skip the line!! This was easy, stress-free, and the Roman Guy staff was very easy to find to get our tickets.
Skipped the line at the Vatican
Extremely easy and organized. Met up with The Roman Guy at the Vatican and they gave me my tickets. Skipped the line, saw the Sistine Chapel and other great galleries. Highly recommend if you aren't looking for a full tour
