Fabulous Tour with Eddie (Eddy?)

Eddy was our small group tour guide for the Colosseum and the Forum. As a student of archeology, Eddy was masterful in describing the events that captivated audiences in the Colosseum thousands of years ago. He made the Colosseum come alive again, as well as the Forum. He also managed to dispel many of the Hollywood myths about the gladiators and the emperors, and the battles that took place. We thoroughly enjoyed our time with him and left with a much deeper understanding of a tiny iece of Roman history. I would highly recommend this tour, and this tour guide.

This was the most valuable and informative tours! Our guide was such a pleasure to be with and she was a great walking encyclopaedia ! There was nothing that she couldn’t answer. I will actively recommend your company to friends, especially my friend who is a travel agent!

The guide was exceptional, she took the time to explain each site, the history of it, and why it was significant at the time. She explained how the sites had been damaged and reconstructed, what was original, and what had been fixed. Highly recommend this tour

Five stars for the tour AND the guide

Stefano (or Steve, for Americans) was the absolute best! He was knowledgeable, passionate, and so entertaining that I wish we could have toured the whole city with him as our personal guide. Oh, and I highly recommend booking the tour with access to the arena floor - my husband loved it. Special thanks to The Tour Guy for keeping the group small! We look forward to booking through TTG again.

Another great experience

Frederico was a great guide and provided us with so many interesting stories and facts about the Coliseum and Forum areas as well as the history of Italy in such vivid color. We would gladly use him again. This was our second tour in as many days and whole hearted ly would recommend this tour and Frederico . Both experiences were delivered as promised.

The tour was very informative and enjoyable. Our tour guide Serena provided lots of information that was relevant to the tour and ensured that we all had a fantastic experience. Being able to enter the arena floor was a wonderful experience.

Great tour - worth the time and money

Francesca-Romano did a great job on this tour. She was knowledgeable, friendly, entertaining and enthusiastic. She is fluent in English and was kind enough to help other tourists when asked. We learned a lot and enjoyed our time in the Flavian Amphitheater and the Roman Forum. I’m looking forward to our other Roman Guy tours.
