Semi-Private Colosseum Tour with Arena Floor

A must

There is simply too much to see and learn about this historic site. Trying to see this without a tour guide isn't advisable. Our tour was informative and organized very well. We saved ourselves so much time with a guide. I highly recommend this tour!

succinct yet complete

Cramming thousands of years of history into a few hours demands highlights only, but we felt enlightened. Our tour guide, while extremely knowledgeable, was witty and full of personality.

This was a highlight of our 5-day visit to Rome. Our tour guide, Fabiola, was fantastic! Very knowledgeable and a great personality. She kept everyone engaged and entertained. Our 3-hour tour went by in a flash. I strongly recommend.

The best guide

Michele was very knowledgeable about the Coloseum, the forum and Sustine Hill. He answered all our questions we never felt rushed, personally I could have listened to him all day. I learned a lot about the Coloseum, got to see where Mark Anthony made his famous speech and saw where Julius Caesar was cremated. Would highly recommend this tour company. As it was the first time we used their service and will again.

Great Experience

Our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and we loved her conversational manner of presentation. Also, the portable hearing devices were far better than those supplied on our earlier Vatican tour,

When in Rome

We enjoyed the day seeing the Roman Forum and Colosseum. We got started on time yet had quite a wait to enter the Forum. The information and accompanying photo explanations throughout the tour made the experience worth doing. There was plenty of time to explore both venues and we were even given a bit of time to see some areas on our own. We were happy with the amount of time the tour took, the information provided and the access to both sites.

Our guide was excellent! Extremely knowledgeable and engaging. She shared fascinating facts and historical insights that brought the ancient sites to life and gave real depth to the experience. We left with a much greater appreciation for the history and culture of Rome. Highly recommend this tour!

Serena was a great tour guide

Serena was an amazing tour guide. She was extremely knowledgeable and answered my questions. I have had tour guides in the past and many were not as good as her. She also helped us get to where we were going after by giving instructions

Fantastic Tour!!

Francesco was an excellent tour guide. He engaged us in the tour and had awesome tips about other sites to see, restaurants, markets, etc. I learned so much about the Colosseum and the Forum. Highly recommend The Roman Guy tours and tours with Francesco. We got so much more out of the tour than if we tried to do it on our own.
