Your tour begins at the Colosseum

Enter the Colosseum through Gladiators Gate
Next, follow your guide through a mandatory security check before passing through the side entrance of the Colosseum, once used by the gladiators themselves. IT WAS MY FIRST TIME IN A TOUR WITH YOU AND I AM REALLY HAPPY WITH MY EXPERIENCE IN THE TOUR. THE GUIDE WAS KNOWLEDGEABLE AND SHE GAVE US GOOD INFORMATION, IN THE FORUM SHE TOLD US SHE WAS GOING TO GIVE US THE BASIC TOUR WHICH WAS GOOD, HOWEVER I FELT THAT SHE COULD HAVE GIVEN MORE A LITTLE BIT MORE INFORMATION OR INSTRUCTIONS ABOUT OUR VISIT. THE SITES BYTHEMSELVES ARE GREAT AND THE COMPLEMENT OF THE TOUR MADE THEM A ONCE IN A LIFETIME EXPERIENCE. ANOTHER DETAIL WAS THE AUDIO AT SOME POINT THE SIGNAL FROM THE GUIDE WAS LOST, AND SHE HAD TO FIX IT. AFTER ALL I WOULD DEFINETELY BOOK ANOTHER TOUR WITH YOU GUYS, THANK YOU

An unforgettable experience touring the Roman Forum, Palatine Hill and the Colosseum with Bogdan. He was knowledgeable, entertaining and so generous with his time. His passion for history was infectious, and he brought every part of the tour to life. Our 17-year-old son was completely captivated from start to finish — it truly made his dreams come true. Could not recommend Bogdan more highly. 5 stars.

If you are considering this tour, book with The Tour Guy and ask for Monica! Monica guided us through the Roman Forum and Colosseum with energy and passion. Being an archaeologist, she had an answer for every question and kept us captivated with fun facts we never would have known otherwise. Monica was experienced, delightful and made a long walking tour worth every step. We highly recommend!

What a treat! We had a brilliant tour - only 10 people (we were a group of 4) and it felt fun and personal. Our guide was super knowledgeable, fun, moved at our pace and somehow we skipped magically past every single queue. The in-ear live audio guide was a brilliant touch. I’ve been to Rome & the Colosseum before but the Forum & Palatine Hill were so fascinating & our guide really brought it all alive for us. Highly recommended - loved it!

Seeing the colosseum and forum was amazing! Francesco took it to another level! His knowledge and ability to express his passion for the history made the tour! We had teens and younger children on the tour and he was the perfect guide to interact and involve them. He peaked not only their interest the entire duration of the tour but ours as well. I have nothing but great things to say about The Tour Guy, our experience with them was excellent. Our time slot for our tour was at 11:00am, due to some issue we were running late and would not make it on time. At that point I called customer service and to my surprise an actual person answered, I explained my situation and the person who answered was understanding and help me out by sending me via text our tickets so we could catch up to our guide. I had a person stay in touch with me through out while she waited for us to arrive. She guided us to her, which was great because there was so many people. She gave us our paper tickets, texted me a picture of our tour guy and directed us where to meet him. Because of all of them going above and beyond for our family, we did not miss out on the experience to see and enjoy the Colosseum Tour.

The walking tour of the Colosseum and Roman Forum was well organised. The meeting point was easy to find, and the administrative process worked smoothly. The tour guide was knowledgeable and provided clear information throughout. The tour lasted about 2½ hours, which felt appropriate for the areas covered. Overall, a solid and informative experience.
