Explore the Vatican Museums
With your reserved ticket and entry assistance, you'll bypass the notoriously long general admission line for quicker access to the museums. Your self-guided exploration begins here, spanning the seven kilometers of art-filled halls and galleries that make up the vast Vatican Museums complex.
Step outside into the Pinecone Courtyard
Next, you'll naturally arrive at the beautiful Pinecone Courtyard (Cortile della Pigna). This is a great place to pause and take in the atmosphere, admire the ancient statues, and enjoy the beautifully manicured gardens before diving into the main galleries.
Enter the Pio-Clementino Museum
Then, wander through the Pio-Clementino Museum. You’ll be able to admire stunning ancient Roman busts, intricate mosaics, and the famous bronze statue of Hercules in his gilded form.

Continue your self-guided journey into the four connected chambers known as the Raphael Rooms. Access the famous Sistine Chapel

Good to know:
Dress Code: As the Sistine Chapel and Vatican Museums are deeply religious sites, everyone must cover their knees and shoulders. Guests who do not meet the dress code may be refused entry by security officials. No hats or flip flops please.
Please Note: This experience does not include a guide. These are entry tickets only.
Accessibility: Unfortunately, these tickets do not include a wheelchair accessible route.
Bag Policy: Camera tripods and large backpacks are not allowed in the museums, so please leave them at your hotel.

My husband and I took a guided tour of the Vatican Museum & Sistine Chapel with another company. Unfortunately, this tour skipped so much of the museum, most importantly the Raphael Rooms (as a former math teacher, School of Athens, was the number one thing my husband wanted to see). We only had one day left in Rome and I was devastated that he'd missed it - I was the one who made the original reservations and didn't check to see what was included. Back at our hotel, I searched all over to try to find last minute tickets for the next day (our last day in Rome). That's when I came across the Tour Guy. You had some unguided tickets (which is what we wanted since we'd already seen some of the museum). I was a little skeptical, but I snapped them up!! The next day we showed up at the designated location. Your employee was there on time with everything we needed. She quickly checked in everyone, distributed the tickets, pointed us in the right direction, and sent us on our way. It was perfect - and so were the Raphael Rooms. I am so thankful you had available tickets and could process our purchase for the very next day. We will definitely look here first for our future tours (guided or not). Thank you!
