Guide tips
Your tour begins at the Colosseum
Meet your guide and small group right outside Rome's 2,000-year-old amphitheater. With skip-the-line tickets in hand, you'll head straight inside.
Skip-the-line entry to the Colosseum
While regular visitors stand in line for hours, you'll walk right through a special entrance reserved for small groups. The moment you step inside and see the massive arena stretching out before you, it hits you just how huge this place really is.
First and second levels of Colosseum
Standing where Rome's richest citizens once watched gladiators fight to the death is surreal. Your guide brings the brutal spectacles to life with stories about how 50,000 screaming fans would pack this place on game day.
Palatine Hill
Legend says this hill is where Romulus founded Rome back in 753 B.C. Today you'll wander through the ruins of massive palaces where emperors lived in ridiculous luxury—one even had a private chariot-racing track inside.
Roman Forum ruins
Think of this as ancient Rome's downtown—the spot where everything important happened. Senators gave speeches, poets performed, and regular Romans gathered to gossip and protest. Your guide points out temples and arches while sharing what daily life was actually like here.

I had made an error when I registered for the Colosseum tour, and the people in your organization and I Rome helped us make a change in the time. I some time use a cane, and I was very pleased with the way I was accepted by the leader and the group. An excellent experience.

Really glad we booked this tour! It’s one of the last major things we did on our trip, and I think our guide Rogelio (aka, “Roger”) was one of the best guides we’ve ever had. He told us interesting stories, helped us connect all the history, context about what we were looking at, what archeologists have discovered and when. What we know for fact, what we have evidence for, what is legend and a good story, but perhaps maybe not true. We’ve done a mix of guided tours, Rick Steve’s free audio tours, and independent exploring—and I’m so glad we booked a guide for this experience and that Rogelio was our guide! Like many tours now, we had little radios with a headset so we could hear him clearly the whole time and he could tell us history as we moved from place to place, not just when we all stopped and gathered around.

Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and passionate when presenting the ancient history of these 3 Roman landmarks: The Colloseum, Roman Forum and Palantine Hill. (Allesandra). As soon as our group met we skipped the line and moved quickly to start the tour. ( So worth it!) This was one of our favorite tours while in Rome for the first time recently. Excellent tour and guide.Thank you!

Tour person was barely fluent in English, couldn’t understand what he was saying. I asked the young lady at the meeting point to switch us to another group ,that was leaving at the same time and was told no. I will not recommend your company based on poor customer service, and inaccurate information about guides ability to to speak clearly. Your sound system was poor at best. Dual ear plug would’ve been better(maybe?). I would ask for a refund but the person who conducted the tour needs to be paid.
