Unmissable

The Borghese Gallery is one of my favorite places in Rome, a gem that hosts some of the most exciting works of art in Italy. The tour was also fabulous. Martina is a passionate and knowledgeable guide who explained everything and answered all our questions.

Perfect Sunday morning excursion

This was a perfect way to spend Sunday morning in Rome. Our guide was knowledgeable and engaging. The art is definitely worth seeing. It was absolutely beautiful. Highly recommended.

Skip-the-line Borghese Tour

We did the earliest tour and it was perfect. Only 4 people in our group (2 left early and 2 arrived late) so we got lots of direct engagement with our guide, who was very knowledgeable . He made sure we saw all the important pieces and made sure we understood the context for each piece. Perfetto!

Perfect Sunday morning excursion

The Borghese Gallery was a perfect way to spend a leisurely Sunday morning in Rome. Our tour guide was knowledgeable and engaging. Not too crowded early on a Sunday. The art is amazing. Well worth a visit and the guided tour is definitely the way to go to avoid the lines and to learn more about each piece.

Possibly the best guide we have ever had anywhere

The gallery was stunning, but Marti took everything to the next level. Her passion for the art and storytelling ability made it a magical experience. She began by taking us on her own route through the gallery, as if we were guests of the Borghese‘s, arriving through the front door for the first time. Brilliant. She was funny, engaging and so entertaining. She is as much of a treasure as the works she presented. Brava!

Excellent tour of beautiful Borghese Gallery

We had a wonderful informative tour of the gallery by an art historian. The tour was at 10 am and not at all crowded. We were able to take our time and hear about the amazing sculptures of Bernini and paintings of Caravaggio. Lots of interesting tidbits about the history and drama behind the artists. Our guide was lovely and extremely knowledgeable. Highly recommend for art lovers!!

The sculptures by Bernini are absolutely sublime and not to be missed. Francesca was extremely knowledgeable and passionate about every piece and clearly loves the gallery. The gardens and the gallery are a wonderful break from the crowds in Rome.
