I was very happy with this tour. Our guide knows Borghese gallery like the back of her hand and kept on the museum required time schedule without rushing. The Gallery is, of course, spectacular. But I was also impressed with the back up and attention to detail- such as who needed an elevator and what to do with bags.

What we had originally thought might be boring and just another tour of a museum and a collection turned out to be a cultural artistic historic Renaissance provided by the most exceptional and wonderful guide. Ella is very passionate about Italian art and the Borghese Galleries. She provided a considerable amount of historical background and context to help us understand the museum and the specific paintings and sculptures. With the assistance of a young lady with “The Tour Guy” company we were able to get into the museum after showing up late for our time slot (thank you!).
We eventually caught up to our group that had Dimitri as the tour leader. Dimitri was gracious with us as he helped us get situated with the tour (on the first floor of the museum; we missed the upstairs tour).
Dimitri was EXCELLENT! His knowledge and wit helped make the tour the best part of our day. Really liked what said about the gladiators and the various artists like Caravaggio and Bernini. Everything Dimitri said was insightful and helped us to better appreciate the art that we were fortunate enough to see.
I am positive that all of the tour guides with The Tour Guy company are great. But Dimitri really is one of the best tour guides that we have ever had the pleasure of being with.
Highly recommend getting a guide for the Borghese Gallery. And if you are able to get Dimitri then consider yourself lucky!

Was wonderful to have a small group tour with Eva. She was incredibly passionate about the art in the museum and was a fun guide. Here English was also perfectly clear and very easy to follow everything she said.
