This was our first experience with The Tour Guy, and we were unsure what to expect and whether it would be worth the cost. The Colosseum Tour turned out to be a first-rate experience.
Communications leading up to the event provided helpful reminders as to where and when to meet and how to be prepared (bring your passport or photo ID, they’re not kidding about that).
Our guide — I believe her name was Loretta — had a background in art history and over 10 years of experience as a city-certified, full-time guide. She was also enthusiastic, engaged, attentive and interesting, and her English was impeccable. She provided great insights into the monuments and sights and deepened and enriched the whole experience. Very satisfying all around.
