Good to know:
Dress Code: As the Vatican Museums & Sistine Chapel are deeply religious sites, everyone must cover their knees and shoulders. Guests who do not meet the dress code may be refused entry by security officials. No hats or flip flops please.
Accessibility: Unfortunately, this tour is not wheelchair accessible. A foldable umbrella stroller can be utilized in the Vatican Museums, but a soft baby carrier is recommended.
Lines: This tour grants you group access to the Vatican Museums. While you'll bypass the long line for independent visitors, there may still be a wait to get through security.
Bag Policy: Camera tripods and large backpacks are not allowed in the museums, so please leave them at your hotel.
Please note: Entrance to St. Peter’s Basilica is not included in this tour. The Sistine Chapel is a place of worship, so visitors are not allowed to speak inside the chapel. Your guide will explain what you'll see in advance and provide you with a map or handout for reference before you enter.
Check-in: Arrive 15 minutes early for check-in at the meeting point so the group can enter sites on time.

So much to see in so little time. Our guide had his work cut out by trying to keep the group moving and seeing the major works of art and corresponding history. The tour felt rushed but it was informative and interesting.

This was the best tour I've taken. I've done the Vatican Museums before in the summer earlier in the day and the crowds were awful. This tour was more relaxed, I felt I saw and heard more, the tour guide was just AMAZING. She kept the pace, gave us such great tips and history about so many things. The ending of the tour was the best because it was the first time I was inside the Sistine Chapel and could easily walk around without bumping into anyone else. We stayed until we were ushered out at closing time. Phenomenal and I would highly recommend!!!

Very impressed with the Tour Guy company! Great communication from start to finish. Our guide was a wealth of information and her English was very good! She seemed genuinely interested in sharing the beautiful background and stories about the artwork and statues at the museum! Closing time at the vatican was great! Not as crowded. Plus the lighting was beautiful and different from what you would have going in the morning or afternoon. Our tour guide Andrea was super knowledgeable and did a great job of getting us around.
