Good to know:
Accessibility: Unfortunately, this tour is not wheelchair accessible due to multiple staircases at each train station. If you have questions or concerns about your mobility, please contact us in advance.
ID Requirement: Please bring a valid government-issued ID, it may be required for entry into the Palace of Versailles.
Bag Policy: Large bags, backpacks, and luggage are not allowed on this tour.
Tour Changes: The Palace of Versailles can close without notice for official state events; in such cases, we will be in touch to reschedule.
Dress Code: Flat, comfortable shoes are strongly recommended due to extensive walking, parquet floors inside the palace, and cobblestone paths in the gardens.
Return Journey: Please be aware that this tour does not include a guided train journey back to Paris. Your guide will provide you with train tickets to use at your leisure. The train station is a 15-minute walk from the Palaces of Versailles entrance.
Check-in: Arrive 15 minutes early for check-in at the meeting point so the group can enter sites on time.
Train delays: Occasionally, trains are interrupted in Paris, and your train journey may take longer than 30 minutes.

Wow the opulence! The tour was well organized and you saw alot. Although crowded at time our guide was able to manuver to get around the crowd so our group could have a good look at most things. This was a great way to see Versailles. Out only snag was a delay on the train out to Versailles. Our guide, Anna, was knowledgeable and deftly led us through the crowds in the palace. After the palace, she gave us our Garden tickets and maps. She then suggested a route through the gardens. We followed it at a leisurely pace since the return train was whenever we were ready

My husband and I very much enjoyed our tour with Anne-Claire of Versailles and the Gardens! She was warm, funny, extremely knowledgeable and experienced, and gave all the essential tips for anything we would need. Versailles was pretty crowded that day and she expertly led us through and managed to make the whole tour work despite the swarms of people and other tours, which was an impressive feat. She gave lots of fascinating and often humorous backstories which enriched the visit immensely.

Nadia was so amazing! This was such a great experience! She knew exactly how much time to spend in each room and was just so knowledgeable about everything! She was great at explaining French history and the customs and traditions found at the palace. She was even helpful in the gardens, which was not something we expected. This was a fun, educational trip and I would highly recommend!
