Your tour begins at Avenue Elisée Reclus
You'll meet your guide in Avenue Elisée Reclus alongside a small group of 20 people or fewer. Your guide will share captivating stories about the tower's controversial construction while handling your tickets, so you can soak in those first stunning views of this iconic monument.
Security checkpoint and 2nd floor elevator
After a quick security check, you'll ride the elevator 377 feet up to the 2nd-floor observation deck. The city unfolds below, spot the Arc de Triomphe, the green ribbon of the Champs-Élysées, and Notre Dame's famous towers.
Summit elevator ride
Next, a glass-walled elevator carries you to the top visitor level, 905 feet above the streets. From up here, Paris stretches to the horizon in every direction. You can peek into Gustave Eiffel's original office or grab Champagne at the bar.
1st floor glass floor experience
Then you'll head back down to the 1st floor, where a magical experience awaits. You'll walk across a suspended glass floor 182 feet above the ground, watching the River Seine wind directly beneath your feet.

Upon meeting our guide we were immediately told that because there were only three of us, the company wasn’t making any money. Before even introducing himself, he hurried us along, actually telling us to “run”, to the ticket counter. (Two 70+year olds in our party ).We then ascended to the second floor where we were regaled about his day being at the Louvre on the day of the heist, various conspiracy theories, and pictures of himself accompanied by stories of other tours he’d given. We were pelted with lots of statistics which we were later quizzed on at the end of the “tour.” Did we see the tower and many amazing views, yes; were we treated respectfully and to a memorable experience interspersed with meaningful historical information by someone who demonstrated a depth and breadth of knowledge, sadly no. It was made clear from the jump start that he did not want to be giving this tour and that he was doing us a favor by “showing up.” We have taken several tours through The Tour Guy and without question every one, with the exception of this, was well worth the time and money.

We were scheduled at 9 am on Monday, on Sunday while on a different tour I was called and told that due to some circumstances the 9 am was no longer available— my options were 7 pm Sunday evening or 7 pm Monday evening. I said I would discuss with family members since we were not all together at that time and call me in 1 hr. I did not receive a callback so I called customer service - during our conversation I was offered the 11:30 AM Monday tour or the 7 pm Monday, I selected the 11:30 Am Monday and received both an email and text confirming this time. We arrived at the location early 11:05 am —instructions requested meeting by 11:15 — by 11:30 there was no tour guide, so I called customer service again and was told they would have to contact tour guide and would call me back. 1/2 later (we were still at meeting location) I received a call back and was told local coordinators still had us at 7 pm , but we would need to send an immediate email to confirm our intention on being there. So we re-arranged ( cancelled our Visit to Notre Dame ) to come back at 6:45 for 7 pm tour. This time there was a tour guide and she was great for the group of 21. She was informative and personable. It is disappointing that rest of staff couldn’t coordinate the schedule/reschedule of tour causing us to waste our Monday morning and not get other sightseeing opportunities. Also disappointing the only consideration we received was an offer of $50/person credit towards a future tour….

The tour guide had no signage, no name tag, and there was absolutely no way if identifying her. She was standing on the corner and looked like any other tourist. We arrived a half hour before the tour started, and I got multiple emails asking where I was. I was there the whole time. She should have had a flag or something to identify herself. There had to be 30 people there. How was I supposed to know who she was!

Guide was late. He did know everything about Eiffel but gave us extra unwanted info about the Louve heist, showing us videos of Tom Cruise, Adele, and other stuff we cared nothing about. Then he started singing an Adele song. ???? We just wanted to see and hear about Eiffel and get to the summit.

Bayo (can't remember spelling!) was wonderful!!!! The Eiffel Tower is known for closing the top portion randomly with no warning. Bayo was VERY accommodating to getting us to the line and up to the top in a speedy manner to make sure we made it there! He was full of information and knew the answers to all of our questions. We had such a nice time!

Our visit to the Eiffel Tower was truly unforgettable, and a big part of that was our guide, Adebayo.
Unfortunately, we arrived quite late after miscalculating the travel time from our hotel, and I know it caused an inconvenience for him and the group. However, when I explained that it was my 60th birthday, Adebayo showed incredible kindness. He told us to call when we arrived, took the time to connect with us, and graciously welcomed us onto the tour.
What happened next was completely unexpected—he had the group wish me a happy birthday and even led them in singing. It was such a thoughtful and generous gesture, and something I will always remember.
Beyond that, he was an excellent guide—bringing a perfect mix of humor and deep knowledge. I learned so much about the history of the Eiffel Tower while also taking in the beauty of this iconic landmark.
It’s one thing to see the Eiffel Tower in photos and movies, but to stand there in person, experiencing it in real life, was truly a dream come true.
Thank you, Adebayo, for going above and beyond and helping make this milestone birthday so special.

Finding the guide and getting to the second level were easy, although the elevator to the second level takes quite a long time for one round trip (it does hold over 100 people). Unfortunately, our warm and sunny afternoon weather took a turn once we got into the tower and it got very windy and cold which we were not prepared for (not the guide's fault). This made our tolerance for hearing the guide talk about the tower and the sites much lower and we decided to proceed on our own to finish more quickly. The lines for the elevators up to the summit and down to the base were long. The summit is a very small space. If I had to do it over again I would have probably settled for level 2 access and just bought regular tickets instead of getting a tour guide. The guide was friendly but I don't recall much she said that I didn't already know other than the tower had previously been painted different colors.

We really enjoyed our tour guide. She was enthusiastic and her English was perfect. Very fun and informative. The tour itself was just ok though and not sure it’s worth the money. You don’t get to skip the line and there’s nothing else much to it.
