Your tour begins at Avenue Elisée Reclus
You'll meet your guide in Avenue Elisée Reclus alongside a small group of 20 people or fewer. Your guide will share captivating stories about the tower's controversial construction while handling your tickets, so you can soak in those first stunning views of this iconic monument.
Security checkpoint and 2nd floor elevator
After a quick security check, you'll ride the elevator 377 feet up to the 2nd-floor observation deck. The city unfolds below, spot the Arc de Triomphe, the green ribbon of the Champs-Élysées, and Notre Dame's famous towers.
Summit elevator ride
Next, a glass-walled elevator carries you to the top visitor level, 905 feet above the streets. From up here, Paris stretches to the horizon in every direction. You can peek into Gustave Eiffel's original office or grab Champagne at the bar.
1st floor glass floor experience
Then you'll head back down to the 1st floor, where a magical experience awaits. You'll walk across a suspended glass floor 182 feet above the ground, watching the River Seine wind directly beneath your feet.
Your tour finishes on the 1st floor
Your guided portion wraps up here, but there's no rush to leave. Stick around to browse souvenirs, grab a snack, or ride back up to soak in those views one more time at your own pace.

Good to know:
Accessibility: Unfortunately, this tour is not wheelchair accessible as the Eiffel Tower is only wheelchair accessible to the 2nd level. Canes and other mobility devices are not allowed on the summit level.
Tour Changes: The Eiffel Tower summit can occasionally close due to crowd control or weather. Your guide will inform you of next steps if this were to occur.
Please Note: Tickets are purchased on-site by your guide and do not include skip-the-line access, so there may be a wait before the beginning of the tour.
Bag Policy: Large bags, luggage, and glass containers are not permitted inside the Eiffel Tower.
Check-in: Arrive 15 minutes early for check-in at the meeting point so the group can enter sites on time.

Had planned on a morning tour but it was cancelled and we were moved to an evening tour. At first we were a little bummed but after we had the tour we were very, very glad we were moved to the evening tour. It was great, light enough to see Paris during the dayight hourse and then to watch it turn to enening and see the lights of Paris . I would recommend the 7:00 pm tour to everyone.

Wow ! We had the best tour guide. Carmel had passionate energy for this tour and would highly recommend. Eiffel Tower itself is breathtaking but Carmel presented the history and politics and culture at the time it was built that wove a fascinating story. Our favorite tour guide while we were in Paris in 2026 !

We used The Tour Guy website but the actual Tour Guide was with a 3rd party company. Our guide (I believe her name was Sasha) was amazing!! She was so great at getting the group through the lines and explaining all of the history along the way. She even took us up together and explained what buildings or landmarks we were seeing down below. 10/10 would recommend!

We had a wonderful tour of the Eiffel Tower. We had the guided tour with elevator and summit access. Our group turned out to have only 6 people do it felt private. Our guide was named Bayo. He was great! Very knowledgeable, knew so many facts, and fun to be with. I would highly recommend this tour.

Our guided tour was incredible. We began on a small side street with a picturesque view of the Eiffel Tower. Our guide gave us some of the tower’s history as we proceeded through checkpoints and rode the lift to the summit. She was clearly experienced and very enthusiastic about the tower and made sure we enjoyed the tour. The 7:00 PM tour worked out perfectly to see the 9:00 PM light show from the ground!
