Exactly what I was hoping for- and more

I had come to the Louvre when I was young and felt overwhelmed and wandered aimlessly, so I wanted my family to have a better experience. Ed was an excellent guide. He was very knowledgeable and patient and distilled our few hours into a coherent and memorable experience. He was able to engage at all of our family’s varied levels of prior knowledge. I highly recommend seeing the Louvre in this way.

Excellent guide and tour

I have a couple of kids that are history buffs and wanted to see the Louvre while we were i. France. Art history isn’t their main love, but they wanted to learn more. We were lucky to be paired with John, our tour guide. he gave us a 3+ hour tour that included the history of the palace, a very thorough history of the art in the building, including major pieces and some very interesting side pieces, and he was able to make everything exciting and interesting for two teenage boys. Kept them engaged by asking questions, providing antidote and stories, and setting a good pace. I would recommend this tour and ask for John as your guide.

Excellent Experience

Our guide, Will, was the perfect guide. Will has Art History knowledge of an expert. He was patient and kind with our disabilities. This could not have been a better experience. We were able to see so many beautiful pieces of ancient art. Highly recommend. Loved it.

Avi was great!

We learned so much on the tour of the Louvre with Avi. Going with a pro made visiting the Louvre less intimidating. He gave us an awesome highlight reel in a few hours while at the same time being engaging and teaching us about Paris, history and art. Our 18 and 20 year old boys also enjoyed the tour. I highly recommend it.

We truly loved the tour with our guide Flor. She did a wonderful job making the Louvre feel manageable in three hours. Flor’s stories and excitement kept our three sons engaged. Flor went out of the way to fulfill a personal request that made our Louvre trip very special. We will use the Tour Guy again!

A great tour of the Louvre

Our guide was terrific, brilliant, and we really liked him. Unfortunately, he showed up at the time our tour was to start and his headphones, which were new, did not initially work. Because of this, we lost time for the tour. Showing up a little earlier would have helped.

Excellent tour with Will at the Louvre. He is extremely knowledgable and engaging not just about history and art history but also of the Louvre. We covered an extrarordinary amount of ground in a focused yet naturally flowing tour. At no point did we feel rushed or felt the pace dragging. I have done a lot of tours through museums, and Will is hands down the best tour guide I've ever had.

Great experience

We really felt like we saw the highlights of the Louvre in the 3 hours we spent with our guide, Ruth. She knew we weren’t going to Versailles this trip so made sure we got a look at art of the same type in the Louvre, she expertly explained the history of the building and pointed out where art had been restored, and interpreted several pieces. We got a lot more out of our time by having Ruth as our guide.

Great Tour and Great Guide

Our family of 4 had a great Tour Guy tour of the Louvre—swift access and a highlighted 3 hours of fun and information—with 20k visitors daily (it really is more like an amusement park than a museum) this tour is a must!
