Start your day at a central Paris metro stop, where your expert guide welcomes your small group. You receive a fascinating overview of Louis XIV's estate before effortlessly boarding the train for the smooth, 30-minute journey to Versailles.
Head inside the Palace of Versailles with timed entry tickets
After arriving minutes from the gates, your guide leads you directly past the long tickets queues using your pre-reserved tickets. Step inside the palace for an immersive, guided exploration of its most magnificent halls and intimate royal chambers.
Explore the Royal Chapel and Princess' Apartments
Follow your guide through the stunning Royal Chapel, known for its soaring, gilded ceiling. Next, explore the elegant and historically revealing Princess’ Apartments (Louis XV’s daughters), gaining insight into the daily, personal drama of the court.
Admire the Hall of Mirrors and King's State Apartments
Behold the stunning Hall of Mirrors, the palace's masterpiece. Your guide will explain its political symbolism, including the Treaty of Versailles. Then, examine the King's State Apartments, the primary setting for royal receptions and state power.
Roam the Gardens of Versailles independently

Good to know:
Accessibility: Unfortunately, this tour is not wheelchair accessible due to multiple staircases at each train station. If you have questions or concerns about your mobility, please contact us in advance.
Dress Code: Flat, comfortable shoes are strongly recommended due to extensive walking, parquet floors inside the palace, and cobblestone paths in the gardens.
Bag Policy: Large bags, backpacks, and luggage are not allowed on this tour.
Please Note: After the guided palace portion, your guide provides your return train ticket to Paris. You are free to spend as much time as you wish in the gardens and at the Trianon Estate.
Tour Changes: The Palace of Versailles can close without notice for official state events; in such cases, we will be in touch to reschedule.
Check-in: Arrive 15 minutes early for check-in at the meeting point so the group can enter sites on time.

Ana from Ukraine was our guide, and she was superb! She was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about Versailles and French history. Her English was superb. We would highly recommend her and this tour to anybody. The tour was just right - skip the line, small and easy to hear what she had to say with the included radio/earpieces. The tour included the state apartments and the private apartments, and access to the gardens on your own. Train tickets both there and back are included. Highly recommended!

Thanks to our guide Kinan, we had a very good experience during our visit to Versailles. Even before we departed for our tour, Kinan checked in with us. My wife uses a cane, and Kinan wanted to how comfortable my wife was with navigating the walk to the palace from the train station, and then he inquired about any accommodation my wife would need during the tour. Our guide also did a great job keeping our group together as we navigated getting on the train. He kept us informed when the train was delayed on our trip to Versailles. He also kept us together after we arrived at the train station in Versailles. During our tour of the palace, Kinan provided us with helpful information about what we were viewing in each room and area of the tour. At times the crowds visiting the palace with us made it difficult to get in some of the rooms we viewed. Our guide’s calm words of information and guidance helped us move through the tour in a deliberate way. Our guide was able to help us have a meaningful day at Versailles even with the large crowds we encountered. His professional, courteous, and caring manner for our visit to Versailles made all the difference.

Even with problems on the train line, she was able to re-route us and get us there in plenty of time to enjoy the day at Versailles. She was a master at getting us just where we needed to be in each room to see everything she was describing. So knowledgeable! What started out as a tricky beginning, turned out to be the perfect day. Great job!

The tour was very organized. The tour guide was personable, always found a spot where we could gather together amongst the crowds and listen to her speak. She did not rush through the tour. A very pleasurable experience!

Our tour guide Mariechelle was fantastic and knew LOTS of interesting facts about Versailles and its place in history! The only drawback was the crowds. Wall to wall people inside made it difficult to see everything well without being completely rude to everyone else there. Overall good tour except for things out of our guide’s control.
