Start your day at a central Paris metro stop, where your expert guide welcomes your small group. You receive a fascinating overview of Louis XIV's estate before effortlessly boarding the train for the smooth, 30-minute journey to Versailles.
Head inside the Palace of Versailles with timed entry tickets
After arriving minutes from the gates, your guide leads you directly past the long tickets queues using your pre-reserved tickets. Step inside the palace for an immersive, guided exploration of its most magnificent halls and intimate royal chambers.
Explore the Royal Chapel and Princess' Apartments
Follow your guide through the stunning Royal Chapel, known for its soaring, gilded ceiling. Next, explore the elegant and historically revealing Princess’ Apartments (Louis XV’s daughters), gaining insight into the daily, personal drama of the court.
Admire the Hall of Mirrors and King's State Apartments
Behold the stunning Hall of Mirrors, the palace's masterpiece. Your guide will explain its political symbolism, including the Treaty of Versailles. Then, examine the King's State Apartments, the primary setting for royal receptions and state power.
Roam the Gardens of Versailles independently

Good to know:
Accessibility: Unfortunately, this tour is not wheelchair accessible due to multiple staircases at each train station. If you have questions or concerns about your mobility, please contact us in advance.
Dress Code: Flat, comfortable shoes are strongly recommended due to extensive walking, parquet floors inside the palace, and cobblestone paths in the gardens.
Bag Policy: Large bags, backpacks, and luggage are not allowed on this tour.
Please Note: After the guided palace portion, your guide provides your return train ticket to Paris. You are free to spend as much time as you wish in the gardens and at the Trianon Estate.
Tour Changes: The Palace of Versailles can close without notice for official state events; in such cases, we will be in touch to reschedule.
Check-in: Arrive 15 minutes early for check-in at the meeting point so the group can enter sites on time.

Dimitri was an excellent guide. He was very friendly, interesting and informative. He even helped me to determine which train stop I needed on my return trip to Paris as the station closest to me was closed which I did not know. That information was very helpful!

Our tour guide Dunya was excellent! She kept us moving and our teenage grandchildren really enjoyed it. The train ride was great too. The tour guide was with us on the train. We stayed and ate near by after the tour and took the train back to Paris.

Everything about the experience with the tour guy and our particular tour guide for amazing couldn’t imagine going on her own. I have in the past and it doesn’t compare. You do need a guy, especially since it’s more traffic than it used to be.
