Our tour of Monet’s home, gardens and of Versailles was unparalleled in terms of depth, substance. Our tour guide is intelligent, articulate, professional and kind. He brought history to life in a vibrant way!!
Semi Private Versailles & Giverny
The tour was as advertised except that it was advertised as no wait to get into Versailles with no wait which was not exactly true. We went in with all the tours and there were a lot and it took 20 minutes to get in. It would be better if the tour guide could go in with the group. The other problem is Versailles was beyond packed with people. It seems it would be better to go to Versailles first before it gets as crowded and do Giverny after. None of this is the fault of our guide
Great Guide and a Great Tour
It is a completely full day. Our Guide, Marius, was fantastic and very fun. Be prepared to walk a lot. It was nearly 100F so some folks struggled but everyone made it ok. If you have any sort of mobility issues, small children, or little stamina, you should probably not do this. For everyone else, I highly recommend it.
We went for Versailles, but Giverny was the gem
We loved our tour, complete with a full morning in Monet's gardens in Giverny. An unexpected treat. An interesting contrast of "beauty" versus that of Versailles and its perfectly manicured gardens.

Monet’s garden was a dream come true

Seeing Monet’s home and garden has always been on my bucket list, and this tour made it effortless. Our guide shared fascinating stories that added depth to what we were seeing. Plus, the small group size meant we never felt like we were being herded around. Highly recommend.
Versailles without the hassle
Versailles can be intense, but this tour made it easy and enjoyable. No waiting in line, no navigating trains or crowds. We saw the best parts of the palace, and the visit to Marie-Antoinette’s private estate felt like stepping into a fairytale. Giverny was the cherry on top!
A peaceful, personal experience
I loved how intimate this tour felt. With only 8 guests, it never felt rushed or chaotic. We had time to really enjoy both sites, and the guide was full of insight. Giverny, in particular, was a highlight—I could’ve stayed in that garden forever. Worth every minute and every euro.
Stress-free and beautifully organized
If you want to see Versailles and Giverny without the crowds and confusion, this is the way to do it. Everything was taken care of—transport, tickets, timing. Our guide was fantastic and gave great context without overwhelming us. It felt more like a day out with friends than a standard tour.
Dream day out of Paris
This tour was the perfect mix of history, art, and nature. We skipped the long lines at Versailles, which was a huge relief, and having a guide really brought everything to life. Giverny was absolutely magical—Monet’s garden looks just like his paintings! The small group made the day feel relaxed and personal.

This tour was an absolute gem! Exploring both Versailles and Giverny in one day felt like stepping into two different worlds. Our guide was fantastic, sharing fascinating stories and making sure we had plenty of time to soak in the beauty of each place. The semi-private setting made it feel intimate and relaxed, far from the usual crowds.
