Your tour begins in Montmartre at Le Pain Quotidien, 31 Rue Lepic
You meet your English-speaking foodie guide outside Le Pain Quotidien in the heart of Montmartre. It is a friendly, low-stress spot to gather, say hello to the group, and hear what you will be tasting over the next few hours.
Taste award-winning baguette and breakfast pastries
Step into a local bakery known for its crisp, golden baguette and buttery pastries. As you sample warm slices and flaky bites, your guide explains how strict baking rules protect “traditional” French bread and why locals line up here.
Sample macarons at a renowned patisserie
Next, wander to a patisserie where colorful macarons line the cases. You sample a couple of flavors with crisp shells and soft centers while your guide points out the small details that separate an average macaron from a great one.
Stroll Montmartre’s hillside streets and local squares
Between tastings, you follow your guide along sloping streets, staircases, and small squares that feel a world away from central Paris. Stories of painters, café owners, and performers help you picture how Montmartre grew into an artistic corner of the city.

Accessibility: Unfortunately, this tour is not wheelchair accessible. Montmartre is a hilly neighborhood with cobblestone streets, which may present mobility challenges.
Dietary Restrictions: This food tour includes meat, dairy, gluten, and alcohol. Please contact us in advance, so we can do our best to accommodate your needs. Guests with severe or life-threatening allergies cannot participate in this activity for their safety.
Alcohol Consumption: The tour includes wine tasting. Participants must be 18 or older to drink alcohol in France.
Waiver Requirement: Before departure, you'll sign a short waiver covering dietary needs and liability terms. Your guide will provide it via a QR code at the meeting point.
Tour Changes: Due to adverse weather, maintenance, or safety reasons, restaurants may close unexpectedly. Also, stops or dishes may change as we are always on the lookout for new and exciting local food. If any pre-designated stops are closed, we'll replace them with a similar, delicious restaurant.
Check-in: Arrive 15 minutes early for check-in at the meeting point so the group can begin the tour on time.

I can't imagine a better experience than following our tour guide, Selma, around Montmartre. Eating the best food, and plenty of it, and also learning about the history and less known facts about the area. Can't say enough about how enjoyable it was and how much I was able to learn in such a short time. The food was plentiful, delicious, and even adventurous at times. Thank you Selma for an amazing time. Selma is friendly, pleasant, approachable, knowledgeable, and just a perfect guide. Maximum stars for this tour, with Selma.

It was a great tour in the Montmartre District with many fun stops and tastings. Our tour guide Salma was terrific and kept us all engaged and shared a lot of information about the district as well as french culture...we all definitely learned. I will definitely use the "The Tour Guy" in Paris and other cities I visit in the future
