Go to the corner of Pont d'Iena and Quai Branly and go down the stairs at the carousel. A friendly representative will be waiting at the bottom of the staircase by the river with a sign that says "The Tour Guy". If you look up and see a carousel above the staircase, you're in the right spot! Please aim to arrive 10 minutes early. Your tour will end inside the Eiffel Tower.
It's always smart to wear comfortable shoes since you'll be on your feet for parts of the tour. A good camera and a water bottle are also recommended.

Having said that, the Seine cruise portion was a disappointment.. Wissam got us on board smoothly, but the cruise operation was disorganized, it was loud and you couldn’t hear a thing the person speaking over the intercom was saying… We would skip this- But we would absolutely ask for and recommend Wissam for any future tour.

Ellen was our guide and very laid back and informative. We did Seine River Cruise first that was guided by someone else on the boat but got on quickly and was relaxing. Option to get champagne or soft drink. Once off the boat, Ellen was right there waiting and we headed straight to the line for Eiffel. Since we were a little early, we waited in line and Ellen talked about history of Eiffel Tower. Once up to the top, she pointed out things and asked questions to make it interactive and fun! After that, we were allowed to check everything out and she gave suggestions on best way to not wait in elevator line! Great memorable experience that made us feel comfortable in Paris!

Maybe not the most important thing to do in Paris, but certainly one of the most iconic... Our guide was also very informed of the history of the tower and provided very useful information on the distinct neighborhoods as we took in the breathtaking views.
