This was a great tour. The meeting point needed to be changed due to maintenance on the train lines. The Tour Guy comminucation was great including a call, text, reminder and pin drop for the location. We got checked in and met our guide Dimitri. Check in was smooth and efficient. Dimitri quickly familiarized himself with the faces of the people on the tour and kept track of us getting on and off the train and throughout the various points on the short walk to Versailles. We added a few more people at a second meeting point and the transaction was quick. He showed us where the water if needed and made a stop at the bathrooms before entering. He provided background information along the way and interacted with the group. He told us where to get good pictures within the palace and provided helpful information. He was mindful of people go chose to leave the tour before going to the gardens. He pointed out shade for me as I lost my hat in the palace and was concerned about the heat and sun. He gave us tips about the gardens and the best places to visit the groves. He ensured we all knew how to get back to the train station on our own so we could have free time, if needed. It went smoothly and was worth it! I would recommend this tour.

Our tour guide was knowledgeable about the interior of Versailles and set good pacing, allowing time to be in the various rooms after providing a description. She was also discreet in her descriptions of various historical facts, being mindful of our young kids (e.g., telling them to take out their ear pieces at certain instances). It was also very helpful meeting our tour guide before getting on the train in Paris so that we knew we were going in the correct direction.

Our guide, Veronica, was excellent! She guided us through the crowds with ease and provided informative narratives in every room. Due to the Versailles Spectacle scheduled for the same evening, the gardens closed early but Veronica still managed to get us to the gardens in time to explore some before they were closed for the set up of the Spectacle. She also provided updated train departure information due to track maintenance that evening, resulting in the last returning train departing at 10:12pm instead of 11:45pm. She was organized, informative and entertaining.

Our tour guide was very good. She give us great history of Versailles. One very important thing about this tour is that the meeting point is in front of the train station St Lazarre which is very big and crowded. The meeting time is 15 before your scheduled time. They will not wait. I would leave 60 min to get there bc of traffic and the metro etc... Also the residences of Marie Antoinette were quaint but the walk was very far about 40 min each way so keep that in mind.
