Itinerary

Your tour begins near Piazza Venezia

Meet your guide at the tour office on Via dei Delfini, a 5-minute walk from Piazza Venezia. Get fitted for your bike, helmet, and headset, then roll out together as the evening light settles gently over Rome.

Cross the Tiber into Trastevere

Pedal down to the Tiber river and glide across an ancient stone bridge onto Isola Tiberina, the small island midstream. On the far bank, the cobbled lanes of the Trastevere neighborhood open up, buzzing with diners and evening life.

Wander Trastevere's medieval lanes

Weave past the Basilica di Santa Maria, one of Rome's oldest churches, its gold mosaics glowing at dusk. Then pause in Piazza Trilussa, a lively square where locals gather around the fountain before their nights out get going.

Roll past Renaissance palaces

Next, cross back over the river toward the Renaissance heart of Rome. Glide along Via Giulia, a straight cobbled street lined with palaces, then reach Piazza Farnese, where twin fountains sit below a grand 16th-century palazzo.

Sip local red wine with a Vatican view

Ride to the river's edge near Castel Sant'Angelo, the fortress built as Hadrian's tomb. Here your guide pours a glass of local red wine as St. Peter's Basilica glows gold across the water, floodlit against the night sky.

Cruise through Rome's glamorous center

Coast along Via Condotti, Rome's most elegant shopping street, to the foot of the Spanish Steps. Then climb up to Piazza del Popolo, a vast oval square framed by matching churches and an Egyptian obelisk at its center.

Your tour ends near Piazza Venezia

Finally, glide back through the quiet evening streets to the office near Piazza Venezia, where the ride began. Return your bike and helmet, then set off on foot to find dinner and enjoy an evening exploring Rome.
