Start your journey in Piazzale Flaminio, near Flaminio metro station and Viale Washington (bus area). Then, board a comfortable coach for your journey to the stunning Amalfi Coast.

Good to know:
Dress Code: Comfortable shoes are essential for walking and exploring the extensive, sometimes uneven, archaeological sites.
Weather Advisory: Since this is a full-day, mostly outdoor tour, be prepared for sun and bring sunscreen if traveling in summer.
Accessibility: Unfortunately, this tour is not wheelchair accessible due to uneven and ancient terrain. A soft baby carrier is recommended over a stroller.
Please note: Sometimes due to traffic and unforeseen circumstances the duration of the tour may extend past 13 hours. Most often, this tour starts in Positano and then goes to Pompeii.
Bag Policy: Only small bags (30x30x15 cm max) are allowed inside the Pompeii ruins, so please leave large backpacks or luggage behind.
ID Requirement: Please bring a government-issued ID for Pompeii. Children under 18 may be asked to show ID at the entrance.
Check-in: Arrive 15 minutes early for check-in at the meeting point so the group can depart on time.

From clear instructions to pickup spot until drop off at the end of 13ish hour trip, Tour Guy tour if Positano and Pompeii was a highlight of our Italian vacay! Nina, the main guide was easy to understand, obviously knew her stuff, and was patient and fun. Positano is like every gorgeous photo you’ve ever seen—definitely want to return when it’s less crowded and we can spend more time. The archaeologist who guided us through Pompeii was one of the best guides we’ve ever had.

The tour guide Oban was great! But the tour itself should have been better organized. The stop at a Limoncello factory was a complete waste of time. Too much time spent in Positano. Pompeii was the the last stop of the day and only an hour spent on touring it. We did not see the amphitheater or the museum.

The Amalfi coast and Pompeii tour could have reverse the order. Later in the afternoon the Pompeii get super hot.

It was a great trip. Positano was so beautiful, but very very crowded so alittle hard to enjoy. Wish we could have stayed a little longer. Pompeii was amazing. Our archeologists guide was very good. Made sure we stopped in shaded areas and did not rush us. Very long day LOL. But enjoyable

Overall a great tour. My group of 10 met right off the cruise ship and visited the Amalfi Coast. We could do whatever we wanted and we swam, saw sea caves, stopped for shopping and lunch. The water and views were amazing. The one area of opportunity was the communication day of. I was looking for a meeting point and was told the skipper would contact me that morning. I was contacted right at your time. I wish things could have been firmed up in advance as I was a little worried. Other than that, a great day.

Booking# 1153439 | July 10, 2026 He rushed through the ruins like it was a race, walking and talking so fast that the group couldn't keep up. He didn't give anyone time to absorb or enjoy the site. At one point, he walked so far ahead that we lost audio connection. He was completely checked out—frequently looking at his watch, talking on his phone, and sticking strictly to a script without taking any questions or engage the group. I paid for a tour to avoid the hassle and get a great experience, but this felt like a complete waste of time and money. Many other guests agreed and complained to the tour manager. To start, our guide was great. He was very knowledgeable, approachable and friendly (he even loaned my son his battery pack to charge his phone). The destinations are fun. the Amalfi Coast is a beautiful drive and location. It felt a little rushed (even though it was a 12 hour trip) as there was not enough time to see the beautiful beach, eat and shop (that’s all you do there). Pompeii was really neat as well. Had a funny guide there you made the place come alive. It was nice to be able to take a little nap on the (very nice) bus on the way back. I wish I could give it 4.5 stars. I’m glad we went.

Our tour was great. Our tour guide Mario was very informative and help full the whole day. Our guide Sasha at Pompeii was very informative as well. The bus driver did a great job in all of the traffic and winding roads.

Our tour guides Mario and Sasha were wonderful and helpful. It was a long day as we met at 7am and returned 7pm but the amount we did was very impressive. It was about a 2 hour drive to Positano in a nice van with about 10 others. We did a quick tour and tasting at a limoncello factory then had about 1.5 hours in Positano. We would have liked more time. It was a bit of a rush trying to grab lunch and make it to the beach. It was a very busy place and maneuvering the crowds was time consuming. After an hour drive we met up with Sasha for a tour of Pompeii. This was about a 2 hour tour. Overall, this was an impressive itinerary and we had a great time.
