We got there as told to be there by 5:45 PM to start promptly at six but the tour guide said we had to wait for the other guest to arrive and have us waiting another 20 minutes. Another five minutes is understandable but not 20.

We were expecting a wonderful meal & beautiful setting, but Livia provided a much richer experience for us! First, the meal was actually incredible! The best dishes we’ve had in Rome & our wine pairings were exceptional. Livia also provided some fascinating history to accompany our dinner as well as provided us some discreet alone time to enjoy our meal. At the end she gave us a ton of recommendations for the rest of our trip (we’re headed to her recommended Ostia beach club now!). This is a do not miss experience - you will not be disappointed! Livia was phenomenal!
Good Concept but needs work

We were impressed with the venue and layout of the dinner in the ancient looking subterranean dining room but never saw any ancient baths and the host "guide" was a young fellow that stood at the head of the table with a canned short introduction. Akward at times as it was just the my wife and I at the dinner and the host stood there silently watching us talk and eat. We had to ask questions to get host to speak. Food and wine itself was ok, not overly memorable.

The setting and the history lessons set the tone for the evening. The food and staff were fabulous! The wine pairings wonderful. Additionally, our tour guide/host for the evening, Asia, was absolutely magnificent. Her knowledge, her personality, and wit were amazing! She went above and beyond by running to the pharmacy to grab me some aspirin, and then she graciously escorted us to the taxi stand at the end of the evening. Would highly recommend the tour and consider yourself extremely fortuitous if you are lucky enough to get Asia!

Silvia, was fantastic and she met us under the elephant for pickup on time. Communication from the Roman guy was great as well. Sylvia took us around the pantheon and told the story of the baths, and the donut arches. She then to this to a very intimate restaurant where we at basically a private dinner in the middle of Rome on a busy evening. We then got a four course meal paired with wine everything made in house. Sylvia would spend time with us each course to explain how it was made and how it was related to the Roman empire. Highly recommend well worth it!

We had a wonderful candlelight dinner on our last night in Rome in the ruins of Agrippa! Food delicious, wine pairings perfect and Livia was a delight! She even provided restaurant recommendations for our next two destinations in Italy. Would highly recommend this tour!

Our tour was fantastic! We are not wine experts and Javier made us feel at ease while he shared with us wines from the region. We ended up being the only 2 on the tour this particular night and he customized the experience just for us. Highly recommend this experience! David and Patty
