Mateo provided a fabulous tour of Rome. His knowledge of the history was amazing and he shared so many interesting stories. He was very accommodating with our group. The private tour was the perfect way to see so many of the sites. It was very hot on the day we visited so the van saved us! We saw so many sites that we would have missed or not had time to view if we had tried to manage this on our own! Would highly recommend the tour and request Mateo! You won’t be sorry!

Fantastic first day in Rome!

We just travelled to Italy and had only a few days in Rome. We booked this engaging driving tour for our first day. Federica was a delightful, knowledgeable and thoughtful guide. To hear this rich history from a native Roman who spoke english beautifully gave life to all we saw. She is such an enthusiastic person, showing us broad strokes of Rome with an insider’s touch. She went above and beyond expectations by giving us advice for the rest of our trip. We highly recommend Federica- she is a 10 out of a 10! Thank you @theromanguy !

Our guide was so friendly and knowledgeable. She took us to some incredible locations and gave us great insight on how things developed and why they are as they are. Very informative and fun.

The best way to see Rome for your first visit

This driving tour made our experience easy, fun and super educational. Not having to navigate the lines and directions around the city made all the difference since we only had 1 1/2 days in town. I would recommend this tour to anyone!

Driving tour of Rome

Michaele was an excellent tour guide. Unfortunately, the Race for the Cure caused major traffic issues. We were unable to see the Pantheon, Spanish steps, and Trevi Fountain. We were disappointed. Michaele did take us to the Jewish ghetto and we were able to learn a great deal about that area. He was disappointed too.

Our guide Celia was friendly and knowledgeable. Worth it! Honestly you need someone to show you the highlights unless you’re able to spend *days* in the Louvre with unlimited hours and focus. Felt satisfied with what we saw.

Our guide was excellent so passionate about talking to us about Italy. It truly was a great experience. I wouldn’t do it any other way. What he covered in 3 hours would of took us days .

See Rome in a Short Time

We had a marvelous experience touring Rome with Raffa. Having transportation from site to site, and a dedicated guide to share all the history of the sites really made our trip incredible. Another great Tour Guy experience!

Couldn't have done it any other way

My husband has difficulty walking but this was our first time in Rome so we wanted to see everything we could. A nice customer service representative recommended this driving tour for us and it was exactly what we needed. We were able to sit for a majority of the tour and listen to our lovely guide while seated, but then we could get out to see the Trevi Fountain and Pantheon and the other sites. We couldn't have done it any other way. Thank you the Roman Guy!

Private Car Tour

This tour was great! The Roman Guy helped us figure out a great itinerary, they were very flexible and our guide for the tour was lovely and answered all of our questions. I can't recommend this enough, especially if you're not into walking miles in a day.
