Good to know:
Accessibility: This tour involves ancient ground and uneven terrain. It is unfortunately not wheelchair or stroller accessible. A soft baby carrier is recommended.
ID Requirement: Please bring a valid government-issued ID as it may be requested for site entry.
Please note: The itinerary of a private tour can be adjusted to your needs. Please reach out if you do not see a start time that fits for your party. We would be happy to check with our ticketing team to see if we can accommodate you.
Dress Code: Comfortable attire and sturdy walking shoes are recommended for navigating cobblestones and volcanic trails.
Bag Policy: Large backpacks, suitcases, and heavy luggage are not permitted inside the archaeological park or on the volcano trail. Please leave them at your accommodation.
Weather Advisory: The Mount Vesuvius summit trail may close unexpectedly due to severe weather or safety conditions. Your guide will make adjustments as necessary for everyone’s safety.
