After a half an hour drive through the Italian countryside, you'll see this Umbrian jewel appear upon a hill-top before your eyes. Next stop, Orvieto!

The Cathedral of Orvieto took 300 years to build, starting the project in the13th century! Visit this incredible church to find its interior decorated with precious Italian frescoes. 

Peek inside the Duomo

Orvieto has a variety of shops. Take some time to browse and buy souvenirs. Top tip: keep an eye out for quality ceramics, leathers and porcelain.
